Professor Kukui gulped and looked down in shame.

"N-no. Wicke and Faba have only detected a forbidden island far off from here and nobody knows what or who even lives on there anymore. But they one thing for sure, it's haunted and Pokemon trainers absolutely aren't permitted to travel there." Gladion groaned and held his head in his hands in frustration. Where is Ash?! He's not in any of the regions in Kanto and Alola is empty too.

So where could've he gone?

Umbreon placed her paw on his lap.

"Umbreon." She chanted and nuzzled into his lap to calm him down. He sighed and pet her, feeling a little more calm than before.

"Where could he be?" He muttered to himself.

"Toren from the research lab from Fula city will be arriving in a few weeks, he will be studying poke in in Alola and he also is a friend of Ash. You can share information and maybe try and find Ash along the way, but please Gladion. Toren is a shy person so try to help him out as much as you can." Kukui said this time without stuttering which earned him a nod from Gladion in return. The truth is, Toren and Kukui used to be friends in school as they would bully the scientist and Kukui would save him. So you could they're more closer than Burnet and Kukui in the past.

"Of course. Glad to help."

2 years have passed ever since Ash contacted his friends, feeling guilty for worrying for the people he was formerly friends with he decided to help out. Contacting them at least twice a year is all he could do so he hopes that will calm the chaos he has unknowingly created.

Also, the island has been shaking for an unknown reason, like an earthquake that would come and go from time to time. So he asked Zeraora to come with him just in case there's a Pokemon down there that needs help. So with the help of a cave he discovered not long ago he jumped in and waited for Zeraora to get in too.

'Are you sure about this master?' The Pokemon asked one last making sure Ash was a million percent sure with this. Ash chuckled and stroked his head.

"Of course. Someone has to investigate and find out what's going on." Zeraora nodded and growled softly, they both looked up at his electric mouse of a partner.

"If anyone asks or is looking for us Pikachu just tell them we're going on an adventure."

'Of course partner! Be careful!' Pikachu chirped and Ash smiles at him one last time before holding in a breath and diving in with Zeraora behind him. Looking around him he found some mysterious Pokemon he never saw before which made his eyes lit up in curiosity and excitement. There were many serpent like Pokemon along with creatures that had the bottom half furry legs and from the waist up there was a dragon! His tail was a snake too!

There were so many Pokemon he never saw before so he stopped to talk to them.

'Hello! I'm Ash and I live on the island above us, what are your names?' He asked the hybrid he just saw who fed his snake of a tail.

'Get near me human and I'll cut your head off.' He threatened and turned around to be away from the specie that's made him suffer. Zeraora growled and swam forward to attack him. Ash held his hand out.

'It's okay Zeraora. He just must be mad that the humans left him here all alone.' The hybrid Pokemon perked up and tilted his head to glare at Ash.

'But master!' Zeraora whined.

'Wow, humans have gone so far to imprison Pokemon and make them their slaves? What a waste of humanity.' The hybrid scoffed and Zeraora growled at him in warning.
