This chapter is a failed Day-Plan that was catalogued by Lizzie Read on the 27th of May 2020. (Fun fact, that was two days after her birthday. <3)

The Perfect Day in Quarantine:

~10:30am- Wake up (Please)

~Spend five to ten minutes convincing myself to leave bed (you may have 20 if you really want)

~10:45ish (Eleven at the latest)- Make some tea (Chi) and Eggo waffles with blackberry jelly. Eat them on the front porch and read some of the new Hunger Games book. (Then get dressed)

~11:30- Go for a run (or a walk if you aren't feeling up to it)

~11:45- Drink some water and rest. Spend some time sitting and reading or looking at Pinterest. (Then do the rest of the getting-ready things.)

~12:00- Listen to some angsty torch jazz from the 20's and work on your character dissection for Alice Bieneke. Also, practice vocals for the audition.

~1:30- Take a break to read

~2:00- Yoga Zoom with a friend

~3:00 or 3:30- Walk around the neighborhood and find a place to sit and write poetry for a while.

~4:15- Come home and read some more. (What can I say, it's a FANTASTIC book!) Check in on Wifey, and go through your emails. Maybe eat a snack?

~4:45- More practice for auditions

~5:30- Meditation/rest period/drink some more tea

~6:30- Supper, spending time with younger siblings, and other chill things.

~7:00- WORK ON THE SHORT STORY FOR THE COMPITITION!!!!!!

~8:30 or 9:00- Watch some TV

~10:30- Get ready for bed and read.

~12:00- Take meds and try to go to sleep. (I have insomnia so this was just a naïve conjecture anyways.)

What Quarantine Days are Actually Like:

~11:30- Wake up

~11:58- Finally leave bed

~12:05- Eat some cereal and read

~1:00- Took a shower because that needs to happen more than once every five days. (Depression, am I right?)

~1:30- Watch YouTube and brush teeth

~2:15- Brush and braid hair. Also, more YouTube.

~2:45- Put makeup on so that I can actually feel nice even though I am stuck at home.

~3:15- Clean dresser off so that the dust will stop bothering my allergies. Then, sit on my bed and stare at the wall for a significant amount of time.

~3:35- Rearrange the books on my bookshelf. (Again, for allergies.) Continue wall-staring.

~3:58- Wait for mom to get home so that I can go and get my allergy shot. Also, take more Ibuprofen for period cramps. Also, think about what a failure today is. Oh well, at least I haven't spent the WHOLE thing in bed like yesterday.

I did end up watching television and taking my meds and I did get SOME sleep that night. I was just too lazy to write that down. Lol.
