And Daniel was gone.

I came back early in the morning, only to find his clothes, his Nintendo and other stuffs missing.

I literally drove him out of my life.

Wow! Could I be any better?

I fell on the couch, awfully tired and sleep deprived, when I saw my dark, gray reflection on the tea table.

My head was still hurting from drinking a lot last night and my stomach felt in knots.

I somehow managed to drag myself to the washroom, running my hand over my stomach as it started to ache and growl.

And before I knew, I threw up.

For the rest of the day, I felt sick and nauseous.

I couldn't even take a leave from work since I had already missed so many days.

As I brewed the coffee on the counter, I thought about last night.

Paul wanted to see me again later in the evening.
And of course, I couldn't say no.

I knew this was wrong.

I was cheating on my own mother and now, a little baby brother.

Meanwhile, my boyfriend or my ex, I am not quite sure, had disappeared somewhere without any trace, without any message, without anything at all.

Never in my wildest dreams had I ever thought of my life to be this fucked up.

Every so often, I wondered what if I just end it for once and for all?

"Cecilia?"

My manager poked me, snapping me out of my trance.

"Yeah?"

"There's a man here, who came looking for you."

A man?

I looked over at the wall clock.

It was just 4.

I had asked Paul to meet me at 7.
He couldn't have come that early.

I open my apron and place it on the bench.

I walk upto the front and as I look around for the man, a pair of herculean arms come wrapping over my waist and I am greeted with soft, cotton candy like lips pressed against that of mine.

Those lips felt so familiar.

I knew them. I had to know them.

Once he pulls back, I could see him.

"George?"
