"Good morning Cecilia.."

Dani cries as he drags a chair beside me around the table and greets me with a kiss.

"Good morning.. "

"You must have risen up quite early today. How did you sleep, good?"

I was actually quite sore from last night and must have gotten around half an hour worth of sleep.

"Yes... I slept pretty good.."

I lie with a smile.

"Y'know Cecilia.. I am still very sorry about y'know.. whatever happened last night... it was really embarrassing and I am so sorry you had to see such a thing..."

I take his hand in mine and kiss his knuckle.

"It's completely alright Daniel.. you were nervous and still not ready. I understand you.. everybody messes it up during their first time.."

I chuckle.

"Actually Cecilia.. I-"

Just then George makes his entry to the dining room and greets Dani.

"Good morning Daniel!"

"Good morning dad!"

He didn't even wish me or look at me for once and takes his seat right opposite to us.

"So... did you sleep good?"

George grins at Dani as I pick on my toast.

"Yeah.. we slept quite good actually.. "

Dani giggles wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

I smile back half heartedly.

All of us continue to nibble on our breakfast, while breaking into a fit of mini conversations here and there.

George would often steal quick glances at me but would look away as soon as I look at him.

"What's yer plan for today then?"

George asks at the end of our meal, wiping his mouth.

"Um...??"

Dani's confused gaze bounces from George to me.

"Why don't we all take the trip down that lake yer mother used to take ye as a toddler?"

"Wait you mean beside the Phoenix?

George nods his head.

"Do people still visit that place?"

"Not really.. so we can be alone there.. nobody to interrupt us.. and if the water's clean..  who knows we can even wet ourselves in..."

Dani looks down at me.

"Do you want to go?"

"Sure why not? I mean we were suppose to be on our way back home now so..."

Dani agrees and after finishing the rest of his breakfast, runs upstairs to get changed, leaving me and George alone.

We didn't speak a word to each other for a while, but I could clearly feel George's flaming gaze, poke holes throughout my body.
