From a far I could see a young girl around my age. She was looking through a window at something. She was wearing beautiful white dress with lots of gold accessories added on. Before I walked up to her I took look around courtyard. It seemed to be surrounded by a small moat. There were small pointy trees with 2 flower bed and white bench with a big tree for shade. It seemed so quiet. I walked quietly up to the girl. She turned around surprised.

"Who are you? How did you get past the guards? Huh? Is that..a fairy?!" She asked as she pointed to the fairy. "Then you must be from the forest," "Yes I am, This is Navi," I said. "Would you happen to have the Spiritual Stone of the Forest?" She asked. "Um yes I do have it," I said as I took it out. "Oh yay, just as I thought," she said excitedly. "Here come sit on the bench with me, I need to tell you something," she said as she took my hand and directed me towards the bench. I started blushing, no one in my life has ever made me blush.

We sat down and she started talking. "I had a dream, and in the dream, dark storm clouds were blowing over the land of Hyrule, but suddenly, a ray of light shot out of the forest and lit up the ground. The light turned into a figure holding a green and shining stone followed by a fairy." The whole time she talked I just listened and took every word she said in. "I knew this was a prophecy that someone from the forest would come.". "Well did you think,... that's me?" I asked. "Yes, I thought it was you," she said while she looked down. Then she went into a cheery mood. "Oh I'm sorry! I got carried away with my story and I didn't even properly introduce myself! I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule." "My name is Link," I said uneven. It's just something about her that makes me tongue-tied. She laughed and said "I like your name, it sounds...familiar," her laugh made me smile. "Well Link I really do trust you so I'm going to tell you a secret that's been passed down by the Royal Family of Hyrule. Please keep this a secret from everyone..." I nodded.

"The three goddesses hid the Triforce somewhere in Hyrule. They knew that eventually someone would try to make a wish upon it. If someone with righteous heart makes a wish the land would grow with happiness and joy. But if someone with evil intentions even touched the Triforce the world will consumed with evil, that is how the legend goes. So the ancient sages built the Temple of Time to protect the Triforce from everyone evil."

"So does that mean the Temple of Time is the way to enter the Sacred Realm where the Triforce is? I asked making sure I understood the story. "Yes, but the entrance is sealed with the Door of Time. In order to open the door, it is said that we need to collect the three Spirtual Stones. Another thing you need is a treasure that the Royal Family has kept for years. The Ocarina of Time." She said. "Wow, that sure does deal with a lot of time," I said foolishly, which made her giggle. "Ha, I guess I never thought of how important Time is," she said.

"Hey come look," she said as she grabbed my hand again and pulled me to the window where she was staring at. "Look through there, I believe that the man right there represents the dark clouds in my dreams." I looked through the window to see a tall man with a pointy nose and red hair bowing to the king. "That man is Ganondorf, the leader of the Gerudo. They hail from the desert far to the west. Though he swears allegiance to my father, I do not believe him," I was trying to get a good visual of him when he noticed me starring. I quickly looked away. "What happened?! Did he see you?" Zelda asked concerned. "I'm not sure, I think he did," I said with my head down afraid she might get angry I wasn't to careful about getting caught, but she just laughed and picked up my head. "don't worry, he doesn't know what we're planning....yet!" She exclaimed.

She took me back to where we were sitting. "Well did you tell your father about big nose?" I asked. She said while laughing "yes, I told my father about my dream," but then she got sadder. "However, he didn't think it was prophecy...But I can sense that mans evil intentions!" She seemed to be getting angry now. "What Ganondorf must be after is nothing less than the Triforce of the Sacred Realm. That must have been the reason he came to Hyrule! He probably wants to conquer Hyrule... No the world!" Now she was pacing a babbleing. "Zel, its ok, I believe you and I will do everything in my power to help you stop Ganondork," I said. She laughed at the new nickname I gave the evil man. Then she asked "Zel?" "Ohh, I'm sorry it's..just a little nick-" "No it's ok, no one has ever given me a nickname she said as she sat back down next to me. "Thank you Link, Thank you for believing me," She then surprised me with her arms around me. I hesitated and returned the hug. "No problem Zel, "

It was already dark, Zelda and I talked and we never moved from the bench. I told her about the forest and how I was different. I told her about the Great Deku Tree. After our conversation I felt like a made a new friend. It got pretty late and realized Zelda fell asleep on my shoulder. I didn't want to wake her so I just fell asleep next to her.
