The light from the sun rising had woken me up. Zelda was still asleep on my shoulder but when I had moved a bit she woke up. "Good morning Princess," I said a little groggy. "Good morning hero," she said with a smile. I looked at her confused "What do you mean hero?" I asked. "Well your going to help me save Hyrule so you're a hero!" She said as she got up. I smiled at the thought that the Princess thought of me as a hero.

"Well I better start my adventure," I said with a chuckle. "Wait, Link. Take this letter. I have feeling that people are going to stop and ask you lots of questions. Just give them this. It has my signature so you can pass through anywhere," Zelda said as she handed me a white envelope. "Thanks Zel," I said as examined the letter. She smiled then surprised me by putting her arms around me. "Please. Be careful Link," She said with sincerity. "I will I promise," I said as I embraced the hug more. She pulled away from the hug and gave me a kiss on the cheek. My eyes shot open and I felt my face my start to burn red. "D-d-don't worry p-p-princess. I got this," I said with a goofy smile which caused her to giggle. "Impa will let you out," Zelda yelled to me. I shot her a thumbs up as I walked over to this really tall lady.

"Hello I am Impa, the princess' caregiver. You are a very courages boy ready to start an adventure," she said as I walked up to her. Unsure of what to say back, I just nodded. "In the princess' dream, I was the one who taught the hero in green a secret song. Now this song has been part of the Royal family for quite some time now, so I recommend not telling anyone," she said as I pulled out my ocarina. "Now listen closely," she began whistling a little tune, I played back the tune on my ocarina. "Good, you learn fast, that will come in handy. That song is called Zelda's Lullaby. It is very important besides it being a lullaby. Come, I will walk you out," she said as she guided me out of the courtyard.

We were stopped by many guards trying to throw me in the dungeon for sneaking in but Impa wouldn't let them. She actually let me out of castle town. I thought she was just escorting me out of the castle. Outside, she pointed to some nearby mountains. "Over there, that's Death Mountain, where the Gorons live. They might be able to help you. Good luck Link," and with that she disappeared. "Well I guess we should go there first Link," Navi said. "I know Navi. Impa just told me!" I said to Navi as she hid in my hat. In the distance I noticed a ranch. "but first I want to check on Malon and her dad," I said as I walked in the direction of the ranch.
