Chp. 2 🌸

"Hurry up (Y/N) dear, you'll be late for school!"
"I'm almost ready mom!"
I quickly finished my toast, grabbed my schoolbag and left for school.
"Ohio (Y/N) san!"
I turned around to see Kawai walking towards me.
"Hey Kawai! Beautiful morning huh?" I said, smiling.
I felt someone tap on my shoulder. It was Nishimiya.
"Ohio Nishimiya!" I chirped happily.
She smiled at me and held my hand as we walked to school.

*timeskip*

"Hey Nishimiya, can I see what's in your ears?" Ueno asked, lifting up Nishimiya hair beside her ears.
"Oh it's her hearing aids," I answered.
Nishimiya took out her aids, and showed it to Ueno.
"Hey Ueno san! What are those? Show it to me!" called out Ishida.
Ueno took the aids from Nishmiya's hand.
"Wait don- !" but it was too late. Ueno threw the aid towards Ishida.
"Heh, what is this? A piece of trash!" he mocked, and threw it outside the window.
"Ishida why did you do that?! You know she needs those to hear!" I angrily exclaimed.
"Pfft whatever, she dosen't say anything so no big deal,"
"But it's important and those aids are expensive!"
"So what happens? Her mom will buy her new ones!"
I was offended. Her mom must have worked very hard for those hearing aids and Ishida's sugarcoating it!
Before I could say something back, Nishimiya gently pulled me back away from him. She smiled sadly at me and wrote on her notebook,
'It's alright. You don't have to take the scene for me. Don't worry about it.'
,the note said.
"But Nishimiya, your aids are more important!" I retorted.
She shook her head and wrote,
'It's okay. You've done good enough. You're a good friend. Besides, I'll try to find it after school, so cheer up!'
I can't believe that she's easily forgiving Ishida! Those aids are really expensive! If she was me, I would have already told the teachers! Oh well, maybe I'm being too dramatic.

"Oh hey Nishimiya, can you teach me sign language?" Sahara came to us.
Nishimiya smiled at her and soon, they both began to do signs. Maybe I'll go to sign language class to communicate more with Nishimiya. For now, it's just writing on her notebook, which takes more time.
"C'mon (Y/N), hang out with us! You've been with Nishimiya lately so give more time to us too!" Kawai came to me and took my hand.
"Oh ok then!" I stood up, but looked at Nishimiya.
She nodded her head, so I went along with Kawai.
I was with Kawai, Ueno and other girls. Ueno is pretty much cocky and moody, but she's okay, while Kawai is nice and sweet, and also fun to talk with.
"Hey, don't you think her clothes are ugly?" Ueno said as Nishimiya passed by.
"Aw don't be like that Ueno san!" one of the girls said.
"Hey she's fine to me, don't be so harsh oh her!" I defended.
"Mm whatever." Ueno rolled her eyes.
I swear that girl can be really mean sometimes!
