Ever since then, things got akward around me and Ishida. I never looked at him in the eye, and when we accidentally touch, my face would heat up. I've never felt butterflies in my stomach when I see him until now.
I felt someone poke me, and turned to see Nishimiya smiling at me.
'Thank's for being with us at the funeral. You've kept us comapny,' she signed.
"Its okay. You guys are like my family too," I smiled back at her.
"Hey you two, should we hang out somewhere?" Yuzuru piped in.
"Huh? Should I really?" I asked.
"Yeah. I need some fun after the funeral. You're the best person we can go with," she replied.
Nishimiya held my hand, and nodded.
"I guess it's a girls' out then."

Even if it was fun, I could tell that the Nishimiya sisters weren't very happy. Their loss was still unforgetful, and I couldn't blame them. We atleast managed to distract ourselves.
"Say, is it your mom's birthday?" I asked them, while walking.
"Yeah, and we're planning to make a surprise for her," Yuzuru answered.
'We want you to come help us. Our mom could have more people,' Nishimiya signed.
"Oh, ok then," I said, "Hey, could Ishida come too? Your mom wouldn't be so mad at him, after he helps us,"
"Eh?! She might slap him again!" Yuzuru exclaimed.
"I know, I know. Let's just see if your mom wouldn't be mad at him anymore," I said.
"Or kill him," Yuzuru murmured, "okay then,"
'Great! I'll text him!' Nishimiya happily signed.

"So, why am I here?" Ishida asked with confusion.
Nishimiya and I were taking out ingredients to make a birthday cake for their mom.
"To help us make a cake for our mom," Yuzuru clarified plainly.
"Wait, what if she slaps me again?" Ishida worriedly askd.
"No, she might kill you," she said.
"Not helping Yuzuru!" I scolded her, seeing Ishida shake a little.
She just chuckled, as she set out the ingridients.

"Finally, done!" Yuzuru exclaimed.
The cake looked tasty and good.
"Man that was a lot of work," I breathed.
"What is going on here?" a voice said.
We turned around to see their mom coming back.
"Hi Mrs. Nishimiya!" I politely greeted.
She saw me and smiled, but then her eyes landed on Ishida, and her smile faded.
"Happy birthday mom!" Yuzuru quickly said, before their mom could say anything.
Nishimiya clapped her hands cheerfully, and we soon started a little party.
It was worth it. Mrs. Nishimiya was no longer mad at Ishida, and it really was a relief to us.
"I heard that there's goimg to be a fireworks show," Yuzuru said, "should we go?"
"I think it's a good idea. Everyone's going there," I agreed.
'I agree too!' Nishimiya signed excitedly.
So, it was planned. All of us will be there at the fireworks show.
