"Nishimiya's absent, and I would like to discuss about her today," the school principal announced. Nishimiya didn't come today, and the principal came to our class. "Her mother called yesterday," he continued," and she said that eight of Nishimiya's hearing aids have been missing or broken and she thinks that Nishimiya's been bullied at school," I looked at Ishida, but he didn't show any reaction. Maybe it was my fault. I haven't been helping her enough when Ishida bullied her. "So, have any of you spotted Nishimiya being bullied or messed with?" the principal said, cutting my thoughts. "Ishida," our class teacher called, "we all know it was you. STAND UP ALREADY!" I shook a little in my seat, since I've never heard our teacher use a loud voice. Ishida immediately stood up. "Ueno, you're beside him, what do you think about him," our teacher said. "Er... well... he might have messed with her time to time," Ueno answered in a timid voice. Ishida looked at her, shocked. "And you?" the teacher said to the blond. "Well, I told him to stop, but he wouldn't listen," he answered. "Eh?!" Ishida said, schocked, "You guys did as much as me! 'I was with her the whole time! I'd never do such a thing! Y-you're so mean!" I said, and tears flowed down my cheeks, and on my desk. Everyone was shocked. They looked disapprovingly at Ishida as Kawai gently rubbed my back, trying to calm me down.
Ever sice then, Nishimiya never showed up, and I felt lonely. I didn't hang out with the boys, after what Ishida said to me. I once went to her house, but her mother didn't want me to come. She must feel insecure after what happened to her daughter. "I'm sorry but Nishimiya's not home. Now run along." she would always say. "Cheer up (Y/N)! You still have us!" Kawai chirped. "I know, thanks for calming me down back at that day," I said, smiling. "We all know you would never badmouth Nishimiya. Ishida's just lying," Ueno said. "I haven't heard about him lately. Do you know what's going on?" I asked. "Oh that? He stopped being friends with the 2 boys he was with. "Kawai said, "They said that Ishida's mother met with Nishimiya's, probably giving her some money, and apologies. Huh, I knew that something like that would happen.
I was at a park, feeding the pidgeons some bread. It was really peaceful and quiet. "Please talk to me (Y/N)," a voice spoke. I jumped as the pidgeons flew away, and saw Ishida standing with hands in his pockets. I looked away from him, still not knowing how to make a conversation with him. "I'm sorry I lied there. I was really not thinking straight," he continued. "Yeah, like you'd care," I said, still not looking at him. "Please, I'm really sorry. I still want to be friends with you. Will you give me one more chance?" I thought about it. He's friendless now, so maybe I can still forgive him. "Hm, fine then. I'll give you one more chance," I said. Suddenly I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. "Thank you, I won't make you regret it." Ishida said, as I recovered from the surprise and hugged him back.
