The night for the fireworks show finally came, and literally everyone was excited.
"Mom I'll be going soon! You sure you and dad won't come?" I called out to my mom. They were busy with work, saying that they won't be able to go.
"Yes I'm sure. Go and have fun with your friends!" she responded back.
I prepared myself by wearing my kimono, and doing my hair for the fireworks show.

As I finished, I bid my goodbyes to my parents, and left.

"Wow (Y/N) you look so beautiful with that kimono!" Yuzuru exclaimed and Nishimiya happily nodded behind her.
We were waiting for the fireworks to start, and it's getting pretty crowded. Nishimiya and I were the only ones, wearing kimonos, and she looked beautiful.
"(Y/N), i-is that you?"
I turned around to see Ishida, gwaking at me.
'Is someone in love?' Nishimiya signed, teasingly.
"Hey don't do that!" I pouted at her, and she just giggled.
"You look beautiful. I mean, really," he continued.
"Y-yeah, thanks," I answered, a little stuttering.
"Hey look, the fireworks are starting!"
Yuzuru squealed.
We all watched, as colorful flowers exploded in the night sky. I looked at the fireworks in awe, and also to see my friends doing the same, as their face reflected off some the colors from the sky.
Suddenly, I felt something warm crawl on my hand. I looked to see another hand on top of mine, and followed my eyes along the arm to see Ishida. I could tell he was blushing, even from the colors from the fireworks are blocking it. Just like that, those butterflies in my stomach began to go crazy again.
"I-I hope you don't mind," he timidly said.
"Its okay. I-I don't mind," I shyly answered, my face also heating up.
As the fireworks continued, I noticed Nishimiya standing up, and going somewhere.
"Uh, Ishida, I need a break. Be right back," I said, as I unwillingly pulled my hand away, and stood up too.
"O-okay," he said, a little disappointed.
"Don't worry I'll come back." I assured him, and I made my way through a sea of people.
"Hey Nishimiya wait! Where are you going?" I asked her, while catching up to het.
She stopped, and looked at me.
'I forgot to do something at home. I need to go now' she signed.
"But what about the fireworks?" I prompted.
'I've seen enough. Don't worry I'll be fine' she insisted.
"Oh, ok then," I reluctantly gave in. Yet, I feel a little suspicious.
She smiled, and went on her way, soon disappearing through the crowds.
I went back, only to be stopped ny Yuzuru.
"Sorry (Y/N), but can you go get my camera at out apartment? I'm busy  buying noodles," she said.
"Ok I'll go get it," I answered. This might be a chance to see what Nishimiya might actually be doing.

As I opened their apartment door, I took off my slippers to be polite, and went inside.
I looked around, but saw Nishimiya on the balcony. Was she viewing the fireworks from here because it was better from this view? But then, I saw her climb uo the balcony, and balancing on it.
"Nishimiya, what are you doing? You'll fall!" I exclaimed.
She didn't turn around.
"Wait stop!" I yelled, and tried to run to her, only tripping on a chair.
I saw her slowly lean forwards.
"NISHIMIYA STOP!" I screamed and got up in full speed, running towards, falling Nishimiya.
*grab*
I managed to catch her hand, while Nishimiya was dangling in mid-air.
I heard a little crack from her arm, but I had no choice, but to keep holding on.
"W-why Nishimiya?" I managed to say, tears spilling out of my eyes.
She looked up at me, also crying.
'Please, give me more strength to save her' I pleaded in my head. Suddenly, all of our childhood scenes flashed in my eyes. I saw myself, playing with Nishimiya. I saw myself and Nishimiya feeding the fishes, and joking with her. All of my childhood memories came back, and gave me strength.
With all my might, I tried to pull her up, my grip oh her loosening a little.
Seeing me struggle, she grabbed on on the edge of the balcony, and pulled herself up too.
I was pulled her up more, leaning more on the balcony, but all of a sudden, I leaned too much. Just when Nishimiya got up, I fell.
I couldn't scream, and I felt as if time went slower. The air was rushing, and all of a sudden, I felt the cold water hit me, and it felt miserable. By now, I couldn't see much anymore, as cold water surrounded me. It felt so cold, yet, so warm, and then all was black.
