*years later*

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I shot my eyes open to the sound of my alarm clock. Another day of highschool. I participated in the sign language class for a while now, in case if I meet my long lost friend again.
I quickly prepared myself and my bag, and got out for school.
"Hey (Y/N) san!" a voice popped beside me.
I looked to see cheerful Kawai smiling at me. She's my only trustful friend since we got to highschool.
"I heard that you're attending sign language class," she continued.
    "Yeah I am," I replied.
"Is it because of the hopes of seeing Nishimiya?"
That caught my attention. It was half the reason why I started attending sign language class.
    "Oh... well... maybe,"
"It's okay, I want to see her again too," Kawai ressured.
As we walked into the school, I saw a pair of green eyes.
"Do you think Ishida has any friends?" I asked Kawai.
"Oh him? He's been alone since he got here. Except for being friends with you," Kawai answered.
"Well, it's because he's wouldn't look at people straight in the eye, and he's been very distant lately,"
"Maybe you should go talk to him,"
     "Wait... me?"
"Yeah you! You're the closest to him ever since you met him,"
"Well okay then, if you say so." I said, as I walked towards Ishida.
     "Hi Ishida," I greeted.
"Hm? O-oh hey (Y/N), didn't expect you to come see me," he almost stuttered.
I looked back at Kawai, and she nodded.
"So, should we walk together?" I suggested.
"Oh... alright then," he said, and we made our way to school.

First lesson, sign language class, alright then. I was looking at my schedule, and luckily, it was my new class. I wandered through the crowded hallways, until I reached to a door, where it said, 'Sign Language class'.
Found it, just in time.
As I was about the grab the doorknob, someone put a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see familiar light brown eyes, meeting my (E/C) ones. The girl had the familiar light brown hair, which was on her shoulders now.
   "N-Nishimiya?" I stuttered, surprised.
   "(Y/N)." She managed to say.
I can't believe it! I was really seeing her! I felt joy and excitement rise up in me.
Nishimiya suddenly squished me in a big hug.

   "C- can't breathe!" I gasped out.
She let go of me and smiled, and did some signs.
It took me a while to know what she's saying, but I figured out that she's saying,  'I'm so glad to see you (Y/N)! I missed you a lot!'
"Oh I missed you too!" I exclaimed, as I hugged her, which she returned.
   "Nishimiya?" a voice called out.
We turned to see Ishida looking at us in surprise.
Nishimiya tried to say something to him, but then stopped. She unexpectantly grabbed my hand, and ran, dragging me.
"Nishimiya, wait!" Ishida called, but she didn't stop.
"Nishimiya please stop for a while-" I tried to say, while being dragged.
That's when she stopped, and bent down. I knelt down beside her, and petted her head.
"Nishimiya! (Y/N)!" Ishida called, catching up behind us, "you 2 okay?"
Nishimiya got up, and faced him.
"O-oh, I have something for you," he said to Nishimiya, and took out a wrinkled notebook.
It was Nishimiya's old conversation notebook! He still has it!
As she took it, there were tears in her eyes.
"H-hey, don't cry!" Ishida tried to calm her.
"Nishimiya, are you okay?" I asked, and she just nodded and smiled.
Then, she looked at Ishida and me, back and forth.
'Are you guys dating?' she said in sign language.
"Wh- what?! No!" I exclaimed, flustered.

Ishida didn't get it at first, but then he understood and blushed

Ishida didn't get it at first, but then he understood and blushed.
   "W-we're just friends!" he stuttered.
Nishimiya just chuckled. What made her think of that?!

*timeskip*

"I'm glad to see you again Nishimiya," I said, while feeding the fishes over the bridge.
'I'm glad too. I was beginning to worry we'd never see eachother again,' she said in sign language.
I'm really happy. I finally found my long lost friend again. I think that luck is really turning on me.
