She laughed.

"This is your last request? Are you sure it isn't something else?"

"Hm? Like what? Like a gift perhaps? For a certain someone you know."

"Who knows, she might appreciate it."

"No? Alright then. A deal is a deal after all."

After deciding to skip their offer to meet up with Krone that night, the bluennette decided to get some rest.

She couldn't handle her head pounding in exhaustion anymore.

Their caretaker was worried and suspicious of her condition, worried that she'd be sick during her shipment which wouldn't look good on her but was relieved that it was just sleep deprivation.

Norman and Emma reported their discussion with the Sister immediately to her.

Stating that everything went well to which the bluennette let out a hearty, amused laugh.

'Ah the nostalgia.'

"Did you really just try to lie?"

"And to ME of all people?"

Norman looked away in shame and Emma sweat dropped.

"Told you." Ray chuckled.

"Plus points for effort but don't try that again sweethearts."

"Body language, eye contact, reaction time, speech, tone, pulse, etc."

"Lying when you've been taught your whole life not to is difficult and I've had to learn those things the hard way."

'Don't forget to smile with your eyes too.' She remembered the 7 year-old her gripping the sink for support as she trembled.

Her body was cold and sweaty while she forced herself to smile happily despite the food she had just vomited out.

She couldn't let them know she was unhappy.

"And I'm sure you've already seen my shift in personality over the years." She spoke, teaching them different ways they can fool someone.

Although they were thankful, it made them worried and curious.

What are the things she's lied about?

They even promptly entertained the idea that Iza might not even truly care for them but waved off the idea soon after.

Iza loves them.

She wouldn't lie about that.

"Do not go to the wall and stop dozing off. I know I'm dreamy but get your head back in the game." She warned, pulling the two back to earth.

"But we need to know what's there, we've already planned everything."

"Ray can distract Mama and Don and Gilda can keep a lookout." Norman responded.

"That's not necessary. I've already seen what's beyond the wall." She shot back.

"What? Y-you do?" Emma asked.

"Again, I don't know why you're all still surprised."

"The wall was the first thing I thought to investigate when I found out. The gate is always locked and when it's open there's demons."
