Sitting on a tree branch, Bear overlooked everybody working away at the dirt path encircling camp. Ever since they had gotten back to camp, Bellamy put everybody to work at creating a mine field with the last gunpowder they had left.
He said that the Grounders were coming, and that they had to be ready.
But, as one rebellious teenager does, Bear swept away into the shadows, finding comfort in the grasp of a tree.
She didn't want to work, she wanted to go back out and look for Finn, Clarke, and Monty. Although she doesn't look like it on the outside, Bear is a worrier by nature. Therefore, when three of her friends go missing, she's going to worry until she becomes a frenzied lunatic in Grounder territory screaming their name.
Instead of pulling her down and making her do the work, Bellamy would just do loops around the grounds, before making his way back to the tree and sitting underneath Bear.
With him watching her every move, she couldn't sneak off to try and find a trail, or a clue as to their whereabouts. With their best tracker missing, finding anything is double the work.
"Monty," Bear whispered into the radio,"Monty, earth to Monty, are you there Monty?"
"You know that's not going to work," Bellamy's voice shot up, making Bear stumble on the tree branch.
Grasping the side of the tree, she leaned forward so that she could look down at Bellamy, who stared up at her from the ground.
"Do you know how stupid it is to scare somebody when they're fucking five meters up!" Beat hissed,
"Not my fault somebody's being immature and hiding in a tree," Bellamy responded, turning his back to Bear.
Turning his back to her, that was a first, all night since they've gotten back he's kept an eye on here. That was, until now.
"Don't even think about it," Bellamy called up, his eyes overlooking everyone that was working.
Grumbling to herself, Bear spat at Bellamy. Though, it was unsuccessful, as the saliva just caught onto her mouth guard.
Instead, she resorted to flipping him off.
"Mature," Bellamy sighed, as he turned around.
Suddenly, the sound of gunfire was heard rippling through the night air. Hugging the tree with both arms, Bear seemed to almost camouflage with the bark. Her hair falling on her face, shielding her momentary alarmed reaction.
"What was that?" Bear called down.
Suddenly Bellamy walked towards a young boy who looked no older than sixteen. That was when Bear realised that the boy had accidentally set a bullet fly.
Climbing down from the tree, Bear rushed over to aid the boy, as Bellamy grappled as his shirt in an aggressive manner - throwing him against the tree for his actions that could've gotten somebody hurt.
