Let her go
She's been in
Way too long
Forgot the difference between
Dusk and dawn
Ignored everyone
And herself
In the large cave
She's just an elfTrying to find
A way outside
On the way
She learnt to fight
The demons, the dark
Most importantly
YouLefts and rights
Wrong turns
Right decisions
Fights done right
She's now about to
Be alrightSo let her go
Let her live
Without fear, without numbness
She now knows
How to fly
Now she doesn't
Have to lie
All you gotta do
Is let her go
Yes, you
You are the one I'm talking to...You and me are those that are standing in the way. You and me make up a society. It's us who's put limitations on ourselves, our actions; not letting us be free. So we begin with ourselves, to free ourselves and others of the norms which never made sense. From now on, we be ourselves, no matter who we are supposed to be, who we are asked to be! Today, I am letting you go!! I am letting myself go!!
