"If Michael had his way he wouldn't of told me where you were hiding" Tommy kissed her temple, finding it incredibly hard to keep his lips to himself, her skin was so soft "I'm glad he did. After the bloody goose chase you gave me... the old woman was a nice touch by the way"

"You did deserve it" she replied back quickly with a pointed look

Tommy smirked down at her and placed a soft kiss on the corner of her mouth, he didn't know at this point who he was teasing more. All he wanted to do was explore every part of her body with his mouth but he would be patient.

Tommy pulled Lily into him as they lay on their sides and buried his head in her neck, allowing her alluring scent to calm the nerves he was feeling. Lily and Tommy both felt like teenagers around each other and as they lay in silent both of them wondered if it would always be like this.

As Tommy let himself relax around her he felt the heaviness of his eyes. Having not slept in two days he needed to rest. The relief that came over him as he closed them could not be understated.

Lily listened with a small smile gracing her lips as his breathing started to become shallow and she kept still so that he drift away peacefully. As she closed her own eyes she tried not to be too smug about giving Tommy the run around. After all he did deserve it....

Lily woke many hours later to find the room was still bathed in darkness. Tommy was still softly sleeping by her side, his arm over his face as he slept. Gently getting out of the bed she saw that he was still wearing his shoes. Making quick work she pulled them off and placed the blanket over his sleeping body.

"Don't move" he hissed.

Lily froze in the darkness and looked towards his face, he was still a sleep, Tommy was dreaming.

"I said stop" he yelled causing Lily to suddenly jump "Stop" and the sound broke Lily's heart as she rushed to his side and tried to shake him away. Tommy was hot with a bead of sweat forming on his forehead. Pulling off the blanket and flicking the side light on she realised he was burning up, the source most probably the stitches on his chest that where turning pink at the edges.

"Tommy!" she called softly as she nudged him again "Tommy!" she called even louder when he didn't respond.

Tommy woke suddenly and grabbed at her arm, hard. Wincing she tried to pull away but he was still coming to, unable to release her. Tommy was still in the midst of his nightmare as his blue eyes glossed over her.

"It's okay, you where just dreaming" and with her free hand she placed her hand to his forehead to which Tommy briefly closed his eyes against her touch. "You're burning up" she hissed as she pulled away from him and made her way over to the phone.

"Lily?" he called, his croaky voice full of sleep. All he wanted was to go back to sleep.

"Hello, this is Lily Adler in room 105. I need a doctor" and she paused "I don't care what time it is. I need a doctor in my room within the next hour okay?I'll pay whatever it costs just please get them here" and she slammed the phone back down.

As she turned around she saw Tommy sat up, leaning against the golden headboard, his hair messy and damp from his fever "What are you doing?" he demanded, his blue eyes open and alert now.

"Your wound is infected" and she began making her way to the bathroom on her tippy toes "A doctor will be here soon so just stay in bed"

"Lily I'm fine" he called as he began to get out of her bed. Tommy could see that she was starting to panic and he looked down at his stitches and saw how red they where becoming. Rubbing his eyes he stood up in just his trousers and found her in the bathroom filling up a bowl full of water.
