"This has to be perfect." Webby muttered as she walked down the streets of Duckburg. She hung back from the triplets and listened to them plan their birthday while she was studying the plans for the surprise party she, Della, and Ms. Beakly were planning for them.

"Woah!" The boys said. They had stopped short making Webby bump into them she fell hard on the ground and groaned. "That, is the biggest birthday cake I ever seen!" Dewey exclaimed, as Webby quickly recovered herself and peered in the window with them.

They were right.

It was huge.

About a six foot tall layered birthday cake which sat in front of the window of the local bakery. It had white frosting, with different colored springles, and huge frosted flowers. She glanced over at the boy's who's eyes were huge and their pupil's had turned to little scopes.

She sighed.

Then took out her phone and secretly texted Della to hold off on making a cake. That they would be buying one instead, as the boys rushed inside the bakery. Webby slowly followed them in as she put her birthday planner inside her backpack.

9The boys would be turning thirteen this coming up weekend. Webby, Della, and Ms. Beakly were planning the party while Uncle Donald, and Scrooge were shopping for gifts.

"How much for the cake in the window?" She asked the clerk at the desk. The clerk raised an eyebrow at her. "We can pay." She added, digging back inside her backpack for one of Uncle Scrooge's golden platinum money cards. She handed it to the clerk who studied it for a minute then his eyes lit up.

"Scrooge McDuck, eh?" He asked. He glanced over at Huey, Dewey, and Louie who were browising around the shop with eager, hungry faces. "I take it they are -."

"His very well gaurded nephews?" Webby asked, narrowing her eyes at him. She didn't like the look in the clerk's yellow eyes. The clerk looked back at her and she slowly lifted a clinched fist in front of her face so the boy's wouldn't notice as if to say 'just try it,'.

The clerk cleared his throat nervously.

"Well, um, yes. Very good." He said. He swiped the card agianst the pad next to the cash register and quickly handed it back to her. "L, Let me go get you a box from the back..."

He quickly dashed to the back,

Webby waited impatiently then froze when she noticed one of the boys were missing.

"Um. Guys? Where's Dewey?" She asked Huey and Louie, just as Launchpad rushed inside with Darkwing Duck.

"Hey, guys!" Launchpad greeted them as Darkwing Duck looked around wildly.

"He's got to be here, Launchpad." He growled, ignoring the kids. "Let's check the back -."

Suddenly they all heard a shout from Dewey followed by evil laughter that made all of them turned their heads towards the back.

"DEWEY!"

Huey, Louie, and Webby shouted.

"Nega Duck." Darkwing Duck growled.

They all rushed into the back just as the clerk transformed himself into Nega Duck. He had Dewey by the scruff of the neck and was about to jump into, yet, another giant birthday cake.

"Dewey!" Launchpad cried out.

"Let. Me. Go." He grunted, as he swung his arms.

Webby narrowed her eyes at the villian and was about to rush at him when Darkwing held his arm out in front of her.

"Let the boy go, Nega Duck." He ordered.

Launchpad quickly moved the rest of the kids behind him, protectivly, as he glared at Nega Duck. His heart pounding hard against his chest. He had been running after this guy with Darkwing and had lost him somewhere in the crowd. Darkwing suggested checking out the local shops in Duckburg to see if he ducked inside them to avoid capture.

"No can do, Darkwing. I think I'll keep this one for insurence purposes and if you don't want anything to happen to him, I suggest you don't come after me." He snickered at him, and with that he and Dewey jumped inside the giant birthday cake leaving the other's to stare after them with scared looks on their faces.

"Okay, that wasn't what I'd call a suprise in birthday surprise." Huey said, breaking the silence after about two minutes worth of it.

"We got to go after them!" Webby said, she pushed passed Launchpad and headed for the top of the cake that was left open, but Darkwing stopped her.

"It's to dangerous for you, kids." Darkwing told her. "You three stay here, we'll get the boy back." He looked over at Launchpad, who gave him a silent nod.

"His name is Dewey." Webby snarled at him. "And we're going rather you like it or not." She told him firmly. Huey and Louie nodded in agreement.

Darkwing sighed deeply.

He hadn't intended for civilians to get caught up in his mess with Nega Duck. It was bad enough that his own daughter wasn't taking this seriously and gotten herself kidnapped too, now, this boy was in danger and these three kids don't seem to be backing down on rescueing him. He looked towards the cake, then back at the three kids.

"Fine." He said with a groaning defeat. "Launchpad, you keep an eye on the kids. We're all going after Nega Duck."

"YEAH!" They all shouted and rushed after Darkwing and all jumped inside the cake.
