The 'other,' Louie peered into the dark warehouse. It was moments like this he wished he had Webby's night vision goggles. She was the only one that had a pair because they were hard to find. Nega Duck had disposed of anything that could help bring down S.H.U.S.H and the orginization's agents.
The laser guns they used were all they had that was close enough to a real weapon. The New Law Enforment Squad had the recent up grade of the laser guns, that shoot actual bullets, prongs that could stun you, and find you in the dark.
All he had was one he had was like the toy one's he hand his brother's use to play with when they were kids. Useless, and can only shoot out one bullet insted of the newest the newest version of them which can shoot out five at once, three additional prongs, and can lock onto your target making it impossible for you to miss.
Whoever Webby stolen this from must have been a newer recuruit all it could do was the casual laser point and blast out one exploding bullet that she had already used to blast the Original's out of their cage. It was a good thing that the 'other,' Louie kepts back up bullet's in his vest, and as he strained his eyes through the dark he got one out of his army type, bullet proof vest and put on in the gun.
He was more careful about what he wore now ever since that day he lost Dewey. Bullet proof vests of course didn't help with the newer model of the laser guns, it was more of a security measure for him, and made Webby feel more comfortable when he went out on missions without her. Which he did more often now. He didn't want to risk loosing anyone else he cared about. He only hoped that she was able to make it to the bunker without running into any unwanted surprises.
Another giggle interupted the 'other,' Louie's thoughts. He glared into the darkness as he tried to spot something, anything that could show him where the inturder was. He didn't want to turn on the laser gun. Not just yet.
"Poor Louie," The voice said. It bounced off the wearhouse walls making it go in all different directions.
Louie's heart pounded hard against his chest as he took a couple steps foward. The bansister swayed a little as he did, being old and rusty from years of neglect made it rather hard to made any sudden moves. The intruder must have known this when he lured him up here.
The clever little devil.
"That Original won't be able to succed." It continued. Louie took another step and whirled around trying to pin point the target. Something shot at Louie. It hit him square in his left shoulder making him drop his gun and fall to his knees. It stung making his insides burn as if they were on fire. Louie groaned. "He won't be able to save the two of you."
Louie looked up and into the face of a full grown robot in front of him.
"You have no idea what's really coming." He continued.
"B.O.Y.D." Louie groaned. He arched an eyebrow as the robot came up to him and knelt beside him. His eyes made a clicking sound as he 'blinked' at him. "Anyone ever tell you, you talk to much?" He snapped.
"Not really." B.O.Y.D replied with a shrug. "No one ever had the guts, until now." He added. He watched in admiration as Louie graveled at his feet.
B.O.Y.D was actually the fully grown version of his Original. Louie and Webby had traveled through the vortex (being careful not to be spotted by their doubles) to try and figure out what he was up too. Next to Nega Duck, the grown up B.O.Y.D is a lot more dangerous then the one they had ran into once in the other universe.
"What did you mean, when you said we have do idea what's coming?" Louie asked, and winced when a sharp pain shot through him. He clinched his ribs and fell hard on his side making the bansiter move back and forth more quickly.
Louie tried not to throw up as he felt his face turn green.
B.O.Y.D picked up his laser gun and barely clinched it in his hand as it bent in half. Louie watched as the peices fell with a loud clanking noise in front of him. His heart sank. He was in trouble. Big trouble.
"Sorry, been sworn to secrecy." B.O.Y.D answered casully. He suddenly picked Louie up by the scruff of his vest and hosted him up high above him.
Louie tried to break free but it was no use. The bullet proof vest was strapped around him from the back. If only he could reach it...
"I'm going to ask you this once, and only once." He used his other hand and pointed it at Louie making it turn into a cannon type weapon. Louie swallowed hard. "Tell me where the Original's are." B.O.Y.D ordered. "And I promise no harm will come to you or your brother."
Louie blinked.
"What's the point in all this?" Louie asked, stalling his way around the question.
"Building the new world with just robots has gotten quite difficult." B.O.Y.D told him finally, "You and the Orignal's have become a real pain to deal with lately. So I had Nega Duck capture one to lured the rest of them here, so they would no longer be a problem.
"Got two already in custody while having your brother; Huey, working for us was easy enough, then finding out you were still alive..." B.O.Y.D continued. "You have no idea what I have to deal with when it comes to you lot." He grumbled.
"He, He doesn't know. Does he?" Louie asked, suddenly as realization came to him. B.O.Y.D stared at blankly at him. "Huey. He doesn't know I'm still alive."
"And he's not going to." B.O.Y.D sneered. "As long as the memory of what happened that day still remains deep within his mind. The guilt, the anger, and the sadness. The plan will work accordingly, the way my boss inteneded it would."
"Who is your boss?" Louie asked. B.O.Y.D was quiet for a moment then suddenly whirled Louie in the air towards the wall and banged him hard against it. Louie cried out in pain as dots strarted to form in his eyes.
"He wishes to stay annoymous, until the very last moment." B.O.Y.D snarled. "Now, enough stalling. Tell me where the Orignal's are" Louie heard the sound of his hand about to blast him. Louie blinked hard trying to make the dots disappear from his eyes.
"Do what you want with me." Louie said. "I'm not telling you a thing."
"I do hope, Llewellyn, that we can still remain friends after this." He told him, making a retorical remark as he put he weaponized hard at his forehead.
Louie cringed. He hated those retorical remarks. He got one every time he and B.O.Y.D fought. Which was more often then he liked to admit. But it seems this one might be his last with him, and all he could think about now was his brothers, and Webby, wishing he had just one more chance to make this right with them.
"Fat chance." Louie muttered, more to himself then to B.O.Y.D, while rolling his eyes. Even in a dire situation he was still able to regain his annoyed, and lay back attitude.
"Good-bye. Llewellyn." B.O.Y.D said finally. "Tell Dewey I said, hi," Louie glared at him as the high pitched sound of his weapon filled his ears. He squeezed his eyes shut Louie heard the high pitched sound of his weapon about to go off and he squeezed his eyes shut tight.
