Once Della showed the kids to the bunker, she and Webby went off to go save the Louie's and as Donald lead the kids, Lanuchpad, and Darkwing into the tavern everyones heads turned towards them.
"Dad!" Gosalyn shouted, She bounded over the tavern barn just as Fenton's expreso machine started to go haywire, and spitting out hot mocha on everyone at the bar.
Gosalyn ran and flung herself in his arms.
"Hey, Gos." Darkwing said, hugging her tightly. "I see you've been well taken care of." He said, as they let go. He looked over at the 'other,' Fenton who smiled sheepishly at him.
"The kid's kind of a genius when it comes to machines." He told Darkwing as they walked up to him. "Been a big help around here." He handed Gosalyn a wrench who snatched it out of his hands and fixed the expreso machine in twenty seconds flat.
"Well, thanks, for looking after her." Darkwing told him.
"Not, a problem. We all gotta stick together in these troubling times..." His voice trailed off when he saw who was standing behind him. "What's he doing here?" Fenton snarled looking at Huey as if he was a bug that needed to be squashed.
"It's okay," Donald told him, "this is the original Huey." He explained.
Huey and Webby stared at Fenton. He didn't look anything like theirs. The feathers on top of his head was also in buzz cut, while the 'other,' Webby had her's shaved from one side and the rest of it dangled on the other.
This Fenton wore not a lab coat, but oddly in motorcycle bike clothes. Huey wondered if Fenton was going through a phase.
"I don't know if I like this universe, Webby." Huey whispered to her. "Everyone here looks like they want to murder me, and is that," He paused and rubbed his eyes before saying, "Doofus Drake with Violet?"
Webby didn't say anything. She looked over at Gosalyn who had strolled over to them.
"I take it you met our Dewey?" Webby asked. Huey listened in while Fenton and the other's stared at him, whispering to one another.
Gosalyn nodded.
"H,How was he? You know, before he got captured." Webby asked.
"Oh, okay, then, welcome." Fenton said interupting their conversation with a sudden change in his attitude and handed each of them a hot mocha. "On the house." He told them.
"What is this?" Webby whispered, staring into the brown, thick liquid. Huey rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Just, take a sip." He said, just as he did. Webby glanced at him, then at the liquid before slowly putting it to her bill. She took a sip and Huey saw her pupils diolate then grow bigger, just like he does when he eats surgar.
What did he just do? He thought as Webby started doing squats a million times repeatedly in a row.
"Um. I'm guess this Webby isn't use to caffine?" Fenton asked.
"No. She's not." Huey answered. He quickly ducked behind the bar. "Everybody take cover!" He shouted.
Everyone turned to glare at him. Huey wasn't use to everybody looking like he was the enemy. Was his double that horrible? Nobody took his warning seriously as Webby started bouncing around the tavern like a rubber ball into almost everyone who wasn't sitting down.
"What do we do?" Fenton shouted as he shielded his head at the sound of breaking glass.
"Got any tea?" Huey asked. Fenton nodded towards the cubby above the expresso. Huey quickly climbed on top of Fenton towards the cubby, made a glass of hot water, put a couple tea bags inside, and as the tea bewed Huey grabbed Webby by her shirt just as she passed him.
"Sorry, about this, Webs." Huey said. He pratically poured the tea down her throat. Webby coughed and gagged, as Huey watched her pupils go back to normal.
"UGH. Tea? Really, Huey?' Webby snapped. She continued making gagging noises.
"It was the only way." Huey insisted. "I really though you could handle it..."
"Apparently not." Fenton chimed in. "Our Webby adores caffine. Can't get enough of the stuff, really."
Huey looked over at him as Fenton took off his motorcycle jacket. Huey noticed a small tattoo underneath his skull head t-shirt that looked like it could be the tail of a dragon. He made a mentel note to ask what it was later on.
"Where is she anyway?" He asked, looking towards Donald.
"Went to save the Louie's with Della." Donald explained. "We on the other hand, are going to save the Original Dewey. He got captured by Scrooge." He said, darkly.
Everyone stopped talking at once.
"C,Captured?" Fenton repeated. "H,How? Where?"
"Not far from here." Donald said, "which mean's, he probably knows where this place is hidden." He added. He eyed Fenton suspisously. "Wouldn't know anything about this. Would you?" He asked.
"W,What? I don't -." Fenton gulped and smiled sheepishly at him as Donald narrowed his eyes at him.
"Someone if feeding S.H.U.S.H information on us." Donald snapped. "Wouldn't happen to be you. Would it?" He shouted.
"N,No. Donald.I swear. I got out of all that. Remember?" Fenton asked. He nervously pulled down the sleeve of his shirt, trying to hide the embarrassing tattoo he had gotten so long ago as Donald continued to glare at him.
Huey looked around the tavern.
It seemed that this Fenton has had it in with the bad crowd in the past. But if he wasn't the one feeding information to S.H.U.S.H he assumed was this unviverse's F.O.W.L Then who would be the tratior?
"So," Gosalyn said, as she watched the grown ups talk angerly among themselves. She looked at Webby and Huey. "are we just going to let them work things, or are we going to handle this situation ourselves?" She asked, grinning slyly at him. Huey and Webby glanced at each other then slowly turned back to Gosalyn grinning back at her.
Meanwhile,
Both Louie's, Magica De Spell, and Glomgold were running through the facility that seemed to be this world's version of the original Louie's money bin. The original Louie tried keeping his eyes open as the pain lingered inside him, but it was rather difficult with his double jumbling him around as they ran.
"Can you do me a favor?" His double asked Magica as they ran.
"Already doing that aren't we?" She asked glancing at him and raising an eyebrow. She was moving her staff in front of them like a blind person would to make sure they didn't trip over any of Lena's magical defenses. "What?" She asked seeing the look on his face.
"I, I think I kind of made it worse for Webby, back there." Louie's double said. "C,could you please back her up when she and Lena face off?" He pleaded. "I'd feel better about the situation if you did."
They paused at a corner as Glomgold peered around it to make sure no gaurded robots or Mark Beaks were waiting for them.
"I'd just assume let the two fight over you, and take the winners hand." Magica snorted, strifling a laugh. "That's all this is, just a lovers quarrel."
The original Louie saw his double's neck turn a brilliant shade of red.
Yeah. Puburty. Now that he was offically thirteen. He wasn't looking forward to any of it.
"Just do me this for me, for once." The 'other," Louie snapped at her.
"Ugh. Fine," Magica groaned in defeat. "You got it from here, babe?" She asked Glomgold.
Glomgold nodded Magica bent down, gave him a peck on the cheek (making the orginal Louie barf) then headed off in the other direction. The 'other,' Louie no doubt knew that Webby was probably already here, he could practically sense her anger, as a chill went down his spine.
He was in trouble with her, and he knew it.
"Let's get going before any -." Glomgold began.
But the original Louie suddenly slumped off the 'other,' Louie. He groaned, and fell hard to the ground. The 'other,' Louie whirled around at him in alarm tr. He didn't look so good.
"L,Louie? What is it?" He asked.
"I, I think I heard..." His double grunted as he struggled to get up. He ignored the pain and looked towards the direction he could have sworn he heard -. "D,Dewey?"
The 'other,' Louie stared at himself, then glanced over at Glomgold who was motioning for them impaitently to come on. Then looked back at his double who was struggling towards where he seemed to have heard his brother, and sighed.
"Come on." He told Glomgold. He motioned for him to follow them instead as he hosted his double back onto his shoulders. The original Louie pointed down the hall towards a large vault shaped door. "Wouldn't happen to have any dynomite on you, would ya?"
Louie's double asked Glomgold.
"Never leave home with out a handful." Glomgold answered a bit too gleefully. He opened up his trench coat jacket he had been wearing the entire time, and showed off his dynomite he had stuffed in the pockets. "Permission to proceed?" He asked with a gleam in his eyes.
"Permission granted." The 'other,' Louie told him in firm determintion.
