Webby of the originals was the first of them to be able to move again after the stunning of the prongs from the 'other,' Lena's gun hit them square in the chest. She got up and rubbed her head, and looked around as she groaned loudly. Her head was throbbing and she blinked hard as dots started to form in front of her eyes.
"Where are we?" She asked to no one in particular.
"Hell." Said a voice from the far off corner. Webby tried to focus pass the dots as she tried to see who had spoken.
Sitting in a slumped possion was a tall, grey parrot. He was in rags, that looked like they were once a suit. He sat there, glaring at her, as if it were her fault that he was stuck here.
"Who are you suppose to be? Gandi?" Webby snapped. Huey sturred beside her and picked himself up off the floor doing the same thing Webby had done just minutes before.
"Ugh. Why does it feel like I had put a finger in a light socket?" He moaned.
"It only gets worse from here, kids." The grey parrot told them. Huey blinked hard then narrowed his eyes at who had spoke.
"Mark Beaks." He growled. "What are you doing here?"
Webby looked from him to Mark Beaks confused.
"Same as you, kid." Mark Beaks replied. "Did something I shouldn't, got sent to detention." He explained. "Been here for three, no, four weeks? I can't keep track." He moved away a little and both he and Webby saw that he had been marking down the days he's been in solitary. It looked like he had started from one tallied week then gave up on the twentieth.
"Okay, am I missing something? How do you know this guy? Huey, and who is he excatly?" Webby asked in frustration.
She had no idea how long they have been out or what had happened to Louie. Not to mention Dewey was still missing, and their family back home must be worried sick. She could almost imagine what her Granny must be going through.
"Back home he's known as the third richest millionaire besides Glomgold and Uncle Scrooge." Huey told her. Mark Beaks narrowed his eyes at Huey.
"Use to be." Mark snapped at him. "But because of your brother, I am now the lowest of the low." He told him.
"Remind me to thank him." Huey replied cooly, he still didn't like Beaks. Not after he found out he was pratically a spoiled, rich, faker back home. "Whichever one it was."
Mark Beaks looked at him confused.
"What do you mean, which ever one?" He asked. "You only have the one brother. The one that wears green all the time."
Huey stared at him, his turn to look confused.
"W,what?" He stammered."T,that's not possible. I have two brothers. Dewey and Louie..." Mark Beaks got to his feet and walked up to Huey and stared at him in his eyes for a long moment, then groaned loudly.
"You're not the Huey from here, are you?" He asked. "I thought something was off when you were thrown in here with these two." He glanced over at Webby and Launchpad who still hadn't come too yet. "I figured you'd turned soft and came back to the right side, but I guess that was wishful thinking on my part."
"No. I'm not that Huey." He snapped. "What do you mean by just Louie being my brother?" He asked, not sure he really wanted the answer to that question.
"I don't feel like telling you." Mark Beaks said. He walked back over to his corner and slumped back down. "You'll find out soon enough, I'm sure. But I wouldn't -."
He stopped when the door opened and the 'other' walked in. She stopped in front of their cage and peered in through the bars. Webby was about to rush to her but Huey held her back. If this Universe was as complicated as he thought, then this Lena meant trouble. He could see it in her eyes, and he shivered slightly as Lena narrowed her eyes at them.
"I see you two are finally able to move." She said. She glanced over at Mark Beaks who was now trembling violently making Huey almost feel sorry for him. "You. It's time." She barked.
She lifted her hand and it glowed a bright green, and not her usual pink color. Webby swallowed hard as Lena made Mark Beaks rush at her so fast, as the door to their cage slid open, and shut immidently afterwards that they didn't have time to react.
"T,Time, but I, I'm not ready." Mark Beaks squeaked as Lena held him by the scruff of the neck. She snickered at him, then glanced back at him and Webby.
"I'm going to have fun with you two." She told them, a bit to gleefully.
"What do you mean by that?" Huey asked, nervously. Lena didn't answer as she turned away from them.
Webby just stared at the 'other' Lena. Not saying a word.
She's in shock. Huey thought.
He touched her gently on the arms making her jump and shake her out of shock state.
"W,where is Louie?" She asked as Lena started for the door with a now  pleading Mark Beaks, struggling against her grip, but paused and looked back at Webby. Webby's heart sank. This 'other,' Lena wasn't anything like her Lena. But, maybe, she could save this one like she did with her Lena?
"Being interrogated by Hubert before his execution in the morning." Lena told her.
"E,execution?" Huey and Webby both stammered.
Huey didn't like the sly smile that was slowly spreading across Lena's face.
"Don't worry." She cooed at them. "It'll be a public execution. You two wil get to watch it up close, before we kill the both of you." She snickered at their blood drained faces before she stalked on her boots and marched out the door with a howling Mark Beaks at her side.
"We have to get out of here." Huey said in a paniced voice. Launchpad finally started to stir and Huey and Webby quickly went over to help him up, feeling and seeing the same effects of the laser gun from earlier as he and Webby.
"I know." Webby said. She looked towards the door where the 'other,' Lena had just walked through. She had to think of something fast. Between her and nerdy Huey at her side it shouldn't be too hard. Could it?
