Also I'm just using a movie that freaks me out because clowns are the death of me:)
ALSO I STG TIKTOK IS MAKING ME SIMP FOR MAUL AND IM CRYING BECAUSE WHY HAVENT I DONE THIS SOONER??

I threw a blanket onto the couch and smiled brightly. Maul held a small bowl of popcorn in his hands as he walked out of the small kitchen we had.
"Alright, everything is ready!"
I exclaimed. He smiled softly noting my excitement.
"You're not going to get scared and not be able to sleep are you?"
Maul raised an eyebrow towards me as we both sat on the couch. I laughed slightly, cuddling into his side.
"Of course not. I'm a big girl."
I said nudging his arm slightly. He laughed before turning the movie on. We had decided to watch It. I jumped a little at some of the sudden noises but didn't really get to scared. Maul seemed to be freaking out more than I did but hid it well. At least I think he did. Sometimes he would tense up at certain parts of the movie but so would I. I thought it was just me freaking out a little. After the movie we cleaned up the small living room. I laid in bed and started to get comfy while Maul crawled next to me. He quickly attached himself to me, hugging my waist and putting his face in my neck. I giggled softly and held onto him.
"You alright?"
I asked softly, placing a small kiss on his forehead.
"Mhm."
He hummed and closed his eyes. I fell asleep and hugged him tight. I woke up slightly in the middle of the night, Maul was still cuddled into me but no his eyes were open. I slowly started to sit up to get some water. He quickly tensed and held me tight.
"Where are you going?"
He mumbled.
"Get water?"
I questioned, looking down at him.
"I'll get it."
He said throwing himself out of the bed. He walked slightly out of the room before stopping the doorway. I raised my eyebrow as I watched him. He slammed his hand on the wall to find the light switch for the hallway. It turned on and he walked through the hall. I blinked and stifled a laugh, noticing he seemed to be scared to walk out in the dark. He came back and walked in the room, handing me the glass. I took a sip and he laid back down.
"Love,"
"Hm?"
"The light."
I said pointing towards the hall. He sat back up.
"Oh sorry."
He held his hand up, turning the light off with the force. I raised and eyebrow as he laid back down and pulled the covers over his face slightly. I took a small sip of water and then started to get up. Maul huffed before grabbing onto my hand. I blinked and looked down at him.
"Maul what's up?"
"I just don't want you to leave."
"I gotta go to the bathroom. I'll be fine."
I rolled my eyes and got up. When I came back, Maul was under the covers completely. I turned the light on to illuminate the whole room.
"Alright what's up with you mister dark lord?"
I said leaning against the wall. He groaned and slowly peaked out from the covers.
"What do you mean?"
"You've never turned the light on in the hallway at night before. And I don't think you've ever tried to be the little spoon before."
I pointed out, making him look down. He muttered something.
"What?"
I asked walking closer to the bed. He glared at me before sighing.
"The movie just freaked me out a little."
He admitted making me cover my mouth, hiding the laugh. Maul groaned and rolled away from me. I crawled next to him and leaned on his back.
"Maul, it's okay to be scared of things. Nobody is fearless."
"I've fought creatures that look worse than any of the things in that movie."
"I'm sure you still felt some fear."
I laid my head over his shoulder, making him sigh.
"Yeah I was scared,"
Maul said, looking down at me.
"But it was mostly because I was scared I wouldn't see you again."
He grabbed onto my hand and rubbed my knuckles. I smiled and giggled, my heart racing a little at the words.
"There is nothing that could ever keep me away from you."
I said, placing a small kiss on his hand. Maul smiled and closed his eyes. I cuddled closer to him as he turned the light back off.
