Okay but teenage bounty hunter reader that Mando takes under his wing? Yes please.

I huffed out a breath as I stared at the small beacon I had in my hand. Recently, I had been assigned to find a high tracked bounty. Someone had found it before me and the beacon shut off. I went to the cantina to get a drink because the payout would've been amazing. It could've helped me a lot to try and fix the hunk of junk ship I had now. It wasn't a bad ship but it had seen better days. I took another sip of the drink that was in front of me. I threw the device onto the table and groaned. The others in the cantina looked at me. I glared back at most and they quickly looked away from me. I drank the rest of the liquid in the cup before throwing myself up from the booth. I quickly put my helmet back on my head and walked out of the cantina. A small beep made me perk up slightly. Half of me thought I was just drunk and thinking about the whole thing. I turned to look down seeing the red light blink. A laugh fell out of my mouth and I smiled brightly, running towards my ship. I quickly started it up and tried to figure out exactly which way the signal was going to take me. I inhaled a deep breath as I started take off and fly into the atmosphere.

Time Skip

I landed my ship on Soragon, where the signal was the strongest. It took awhile to figure out which way I needed to go but I finally figured it out. I quickly threw on my armor and pulled my (h/c) hair into my helmet. The smell of the metal quickly attacked my senses. The landing ramp slowly went down as I grabbed my rifle and some thermal detonators. My feet sunk into the mud as I stepped off the metal ramp, a squishy sound made itself present from the quiet sounds of the night. My body tensed from the sound. It honestly was disgusting. I slowly walked down a path, listening to the faint beeps of the tracker. They got faster and faster as I approached a small village. I kneeled onto the ground, pulling my rifle from over my shoulder. I aimed down the sights, scanning the area. It was most a bunch of little kids running around and playing with each other, elders watched on from the huts they lived in. A soft smile pulled at my lips. I would give a lot to settle down with someone and have a family in a unbothered area of the Galaxy. A dream I always thought about, but never got any closer to it. My sights landed on a small green alien in the arms of a shock trooper. I blinked and zoomed closer in. I heard about it being small but not like this.
"I could've sworn a Mandalorian had him last..."
I mumbled out. Everything seemed to stop as I felt my body get pushed to the side. I yelped as a body pushed against mine. It was such a blur and I had no idea what happened. I felt the tracker on my belt get taken off. My senses came back to me and I quickly shoved my foot on the persons side, kicking them off of me. They grunted and quickly tackled me again. I yelped as I felt my head slam against the hard ground, my helmet had come off with the momentum. I groaned softly as my vision spun. A Mandalorian was sitting on top of me. His hand was balled in a fist and raised slightly. I felt his body tense and he quickly got off of me.
"You're a kid?"
The Mando spoke. I brought my hands up to my head as it started pounding. Mado kneeled next to me, helping me sit up. I groaned louder as my head started to throb even more.
"What clan are you apart of?"
Mando asked, looking towards my own Mandalorian style helmet. I looked towards it, grabbing it.
"None, I found this armor awhile ago. It was better than nothing."
I said softly, staring at my reflection from my hemlet. I looked over at the Mandalorian. He stood up and looked down at the tracker I had.
"You're looking for the kid too?"
"Kid? I was told it was about 50 years old."
"It's a baby for it's species."
My stomach dropped slightly, the thought of killing a child didn't sit right with me. I started to stand up.
"Oh, I didn't know. I'll leave you guys alone then."
I muttered before stumbling over my feet, landing into his chest. My vision spun and I groaned loudly. He grabbed onto my shoulders, holding my body up. He sighed softly before wrapping his arms around my thighs and lifting me over his shoulder. I yelped and whined at the sudden pain in my head.
"Keep your head up and don't fall asleep."
I did what he said, I counted the trees as we passed by to keep me up. We soon arrived in the small village.
"You know, I can walk."
I huffed out The arms around my waist shifted and I was dropped to the floor gently. I stumbled slightly to keep my balance. I grabbed onto his shoulder as he walked me towards a small hutt. The Shock Trooper I saw earlier walked up with the small alien. It was asleep in her arms. She glared at me and then turned to the Mandalorian.
"Who's she?"
"A kid trying to find us."
Her eyes widened as she looked at me. I smiled nervously and slowly moved behind him.
"She has a concussion I think, she needs to rest somewhere. She's just a kid."
The Mandalorian said, wrapping an arm protectively around me. It felt weird. My own parents didn't even treat me like this. I felt safe for once. I felt like I didn't have to look over my shoulder every two seconds.
"Fine. We can help her."
The two walked me into the hurt. Mando pointed towards a small bed.
"Sit there."
I did as I was told and rubbed my temples. The Shock Trooper walked towards a small crib and laid the child in there. She walked up to me.
"Cara Dune."
She said and stuck her hand out. I grabbed onto it and smiled.
"(Y/n) (L/n)."
I said. She nodded and walked out of the hutt. I started to lean back slightly before the Mandalorian walked back in. He had a bowl in his hand.
"No, don't lay down. You have to stay up for a little bit."
I blinked and he handed me the bowl. He had my helmet in his other hand and he placed it on the small table. I stared at the soup before drinking it slowly. I smiled brightly at the warm liquid. It was delicious. Mando walked and sat next to me.
"So why is a kid in the bounty hunting business?"
He asked. I hummed as I drank the soup.
"I ran away from home..My parents didn't treat me very well.."
I said softly. I slowly placed the bowl back on the table. For some reason, I felt like I needed to tell him everything. He could've easily killed me earlier and left me there but he didn't.
"It was all the same, they would spend so much money on alcohol and drugs...I barely ate anything and I had to listen to them yell and scream at each other every day.."
My voice cracked slightly as I felt tears fall down my cheek slightly.
"Kid..I'm really sorry.."
His hand rested on my shoulder softly. He gave it a small squeeze before standing up.
"I can take care of you. You have some skill but I have some things I could teach you."
"What?"
I stared at him shocked at what he just said. He nodded and grabbed the bowl.
"I'll take care of you. I don't think I could have you dying on me."
He said softly before walking out. My mouth hung open before I smiled brightly. I laughed and hugged myself slightly. I sighed and started to take off the armor plates on my under shirt. I took off all the armor and stretched. I groaned and held my head again.
"Hey kid, you can go to sleep now."
Mando spoke softly and I nodded slightly. I crawled into the small bed and sighed softly. My body relaxed into the matress and I smiled. I felt myself slowly drift off to sleep as I felt the blanket get pulled across my body. I felt a gloved hand lay on my head and it ruffle my hair slightly.
"Night kid."
