Mr. David Patterson, Asher's father, is cooking breakfast for the family. David is almost done cooking bacon strips and eggs. He was just done cooking "Pancit Canton", a well known tossed noodles in the Philippines. The aroma of the bacon strips, eggs, and pancit canton made Asher to get up on the right side of the bed.
"Hmm-mm." David hums as the sizzling bacon strips sizzles on the pan, while smelling the aroma. Asher is just about done brushing his teeth inside the bathroom, with his tummy ready to eat breakfast. David yelled, "Kain na", as Asher is walking towards the dining room. The aroma made his tummy to make noises as if it was empty for a week. "O, Ash, maaga ah. Have you smelt the aroma of our breakfast for today?", David asked, and with a grin and smile, "Opo dad, naamoy ko po kasi yung luto ninyo eh.". David was surprised that Asher woke up earlier than he thought he would be, he usually wakes up sooner than his wife, Ella.
"How's your sleep?", he asked, "It was well, dad, napanaginipan ko na naging successful ang project na ginagawa po ninyo.", Ash answered with a smile. "Siya nga po pala dad, h-how's the project going?". With a worried sense, David answered, "Well, it was going pretty well, until we had the accident last night. Just pray, anak, na magiging successful ang project ni dad mo. Okay?", and with a smile, Asher responded yes.
Asher was the one responsible for making up the table before eating, it is a Filipino culture to help out in household chores. He makes sure that the table cloth is flattened. Plates, spoon and fork, and the glasses of water was all set up by Ash. David doesn't really want to disturb Ella's sleep due to some conditions, so he waited her to wake up. He also took in mind that it's almost the time when Ella usually wakes up late.
8 minutes has passed, the food is starting to be warm. David asked Asher to call out his mom. As Asher is walking up the stairs to go to their master bedroom, humming to the tune of "Grateful", he heard a yelp.
"DAVID!", yelped a woman that seems to be from their master bedroom. The woman yelped again, "David!". As David and Asher is rushing, running up the stairs, the master bedroom door opened and it was Ella that is about to give birth.

This is the first story that I've made on this account, 10th or so with the other accounts included. Yung ibang account, well, 'di na talaga siya active. If you know ISPK, SPKFSO, and such, its actually one of my works, I would not search those stories if I were you. This is a new story my mind made up, and was inspired a movie trailer of the movie "Project Almanac" my classmate showed me when we were supposed to make a school play out of it, and it is the main reason how this story was made. This is also inspired by the movie, "Meet the Robinsons", isa sa mga napakagandang childhood movie ko and possibly to other teens as well, and "Mr. Peabody and Sherman" which is also a good movie that helped me to plan this out very well. I planned to make this story a mystery as well to readers, and yung mga narratives won't really expose much of what is happening in most parts; example given, "It was actually-,", "That was the time when-", and other phrases that the narrator can just give away the mystery. This is a third-person based novel from your teen something story writer. Dates and times are based on a real life Gregorian calendar, so if you were to thought that the dates and times I mentioned here matched with the real ones, it's not a coincidence.
