1:30 PM, dismissal time
*bell rings
The whole class was silent as they went out the corridor, lining up outside. They had a bad look at Micky when he pleaded guilty to touching Prisca, there were silent conversations around him as he walked out the door.
"Micky, I'm disappointed at what you did earlier. I should have known earlier that you have that personality.", said Mrs. Jazmine. Micky didn't give a response, he just fell in line accordingly with their height. Rumors spread around the Grade 3 Levels at Lunch, Micky didn't even go outside to buy his lunch; he didn't eat lunch that day.
"Ay, bastos...", said Jack as he passed by Micky towards the back of the line. Micky was just staring the flooring of the corridor, his back bent slightly and his mouth shut. The president of the class, Gene, was looking at Micky when she went out to fall in line. Something in her head flew by. She was thinking that Micky didn't really do it, bearing in mind that he was shivering when he went back in class after Jack took him out the corridor.
"Okay...", Gene took her eyes off Micky and looked at Mrs. Jazmine, "... you may proceed at your designated waiting shed.". They started to walk; still talking about Micky. "'Wag maingay, nagi-ikot ang headmaster.", she followed up.
Aldwine is 4th in line, he never really got to support Micky when they went to their waiting shed. He can't take all the rumors that are spreading around in school. As they walked pass Field A (Preschool to Kindergarten), they saw Mrs. Helen, walking towards Field B where the Faculty Room is. "Good morning, Mrs. Helen", the class greeted. Micky opened his mouth to greet Mrs. Helen.
When Mrs. Helen looked at Micky, she didn't greet back. Does she know about the rumor? Instead, she continued to walk and greet the other student behind him. Micky didn't take off eyes at Mrs. Helen even she walked pass by him. The corner of his mouth lowered as well as his eyebrows. He continued to walk and look at the paved path in front of him.
When they reached the waiting shed, several parents was looking at Micky when he walked pass by them, and then silent conversations followed. He heard his name all around the waiting shed.
"Mick, ayos ka lang?", suddenly asked Aldwine from behind. "Ay, nagsama yung dalawa.", taunted Jack as they both walk towards them. "Tigilan mo nga yang kalokohan mo, lalabas din ang katotohanan balang araw, Jack.", defended Aldwine as they continue to walk pass by him. Jack just laughed, and taunted them.

That night, Aldwine was thinking about Micky. Just imagine what had happened to your father is also happening to your best friend. History does repeat itself. And then he thought a plan, a plan that can save Micky early on before his reputation sides with negative.
*the sound of a bike rushed through the town of Benevier towards Paxton Elementary School
