XI - Soft-o-more Hearts

Micky and Aldwine were in their freshmen year when they moved to being a Page in their ministry. It's a lot of work for them to do, especially since they assigned Micky and Aldwine as an officer in the trainee committee. Although Micky's lack of confidence and self-doubt is still inside him. 

Flashback

"Micky, Aldwine... in anything you do, you must offer it to our Lord. Kaunti man yan o hindi, gagawa at gagawa ang Diyos ng himala para sa atin...", said Christian, their Master of Ceremonies that time. "Tama, alam niyo ba ang the miracle of the seven loaves and two fishes?", Mark asked.

"Yes po."

"Our Lord Jesus Christ, asked His disciples how many loaves they have. They answered that they have seven loaves and two fishes to feed the multitude...", he said, "... and with that source, He asked the crowd to seat, looked up in Heaven, gave thanks, broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they to the people."

"Ilan ang tao na nandun?", Ben asked. "4,000.", they answered. "That seven loaves, and two fishes, multiplied, and fed the 4,000."

"Kaya kung ano ang kaya ninyong gawin ngayon, everything you have, offer it to our Lord, and let Him do the miracle for you. For your situation, ang pagtulong sa kapwa ay isa na sa mga paraan para ibigay ang natitira sa inyo sa Diyos. Give until it hurts. Okay?", Christian said.

"Yes po, Kuya Christian. Salamat po sa mga advise.", Micky said in response.

That was 2040, a year after they joined the ministry. It was a lecture/seminar to conduct an hour of giving advice to their members; to help them with their problems. Micky and Aldwine changed a lot from the help of their officers inside the ministry. They gave until it hurts. 

Micky however, after all those giving, didn't bother to acknowledge his kindness and the change he made; he was still dependent unto others, and the decisions he made come from Aldwine and the surrounding people. And if that surrounding people may influence him back to his old ways, it may be a point of no return.

"Micky, you'll be serving at Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 6:00 PM. And at Sunday, you'll be serving at 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM.", Freddy assigned each one of them to a schedule for their service. It's the year 2044, 2 months before they will promote them to Page. 

"So, last night, 'noh. May nagnakaw ng imahe ni- Mama Mary dun sa likod.", the members and aspirants gasped, "Eh, nag-iwan ng note dun sa stand, sa ilalim ng glass, sabi-  Kung 'di niyo po ako bibigyan ng mountain bike, 'di ko po ibabalik ang mama mo -ewan ko kung ano problema nun pero... nabalik naman na. Naglagay pa nga ng address kung saan daw dadalhin yung mountain bike niya,", he said, scratching his head.

"Okay class, ako si Mrs. Lavern, ang inyong adviser for this school year.", she said as she stood in front of the class. She is in her mid-30s, has a doctorate degree. She has black wavy hair, black eyeglasses, stunning eyes, high-arced brows, and seems to have a fierce personality. 

When they were introducing themselves, Micky saw their first honor and second honor from the last school year. They are now Sophomores. Micky was first honor in their class last year after calculating the final grade, but placed in 4th after fishy happenings happened during 3rd and 4th period. 

Micky was kind of kill-joy in their class, he doesn't really interact with other that much except his best friend, Aldwine and some of his friends from elementary that also went there at Ridgeview College. He also quarrels about the behavior of the class, such as the cheating and harassment happening inside there. With that reason, the class didn't like that much and instead; they wanted one of their friend to take the first place.
