Alana here. Welcome to a brand new story, of mythical creatures and those who hunt them. I am really excited to share this entirely new project with you. While The Gate is not directly related to Blackout, my first novel, both take place in the Borderverse, my own little version of the world. That being said, this book can be read alone! Disclaimer: I drew from a lot of legends for inspiration, but each supernatural creature, or should I say, Forbidden, that you see is just my loose interpretation. The intention is not to offend any of the cultures from which these legends originate.
