Until Then

Yoongi fundly stared at the cute sight in front of him.

He adopted a puppy named Holly a week ago and Jimin got to see it for the first time.

He cooed at how Jimin played with the cute little Holly.

"Heyyy! How is the dog earning more attention from you?" Yoongi pouted.

"Aw... Is my beloved hyung jealous?"

Jimin stood up and carried the dog.

"Don't worry, we can cuddle all night, hyung. I don't have work until tomorrow."

"Good. I am deprived of hugs these days."

Yoongi pouted for effect which quickly worked on Jimin who sat beside him. He let the dog free and hugged the older. Yoongi's heart started to beat fast with the contact.

Jimin, though, saw the gummy smile and smirked.

"You like this?" he asked.

The other just rolled his eyes and shaked away from the embrace.

"I thought you wanted a hug?"

"I want to go to bed now."

"Sure."

They headed to Yoongi's bed and lied down, facing each other comfortably.

Yoongi hugged Jimin tightly and burried his nose to his head. Jimin attached his forehead to Yoongi's chest, hearing the fast heartbeat of the other.

They stayed on bed like that, feet tangled.

They were just friends and nothing more. They were aware of each other's feelings but they didn't take it that far. Sure, they went on dates, kissed many times, and cuddled on bed but that didn't mean they were a couple. Even if they confessed, Yoongi was too afraid to call themselves as boyfriends.

He experienced too many heartaches from previous relationships. They were all the same, from best friends to lovers. He lost all of them after failing as a couple. As much as he loves Jimin, he won't stain their friendship.

Jimin was a very close and special friend and he was afraid of losing him so they kept their relationship like that for a year now.

Just friends, close friends.

Namjoon agreed to drink with Yoongi, in defeat after arguing for a while.

"I have work but whatever."

Yoongi smiled.

"Thanks, Namjoon. Here."

Namjoon took the can of beer and sat across the older.

"So? What's up?"

"Jimin."

Namjoon grew more intruiged.

"What happened?"

"After the night he met Holly, he became distant. We wouldn't cuddle that much anymore and he barely talks to me, not even on the phone."

Namjoon took a big gulp from the can before speaking.

He was the witness of everything that happened between Yoongi and Jimin. He would listen to both when they were troubled and he surely wanted them to be together. Not when his friend was being blind in love, though.

"Hyung, you can't really blame him. You two, do things that normal friends don't. You both said 'I love you' but you never took it further so it doesn't mean so much to your relationship. Jimin has all the rights to do anything."
