My Majesty

Jimin harshly tapped on his desk, thinking about a possible solution for the broken laptop infront of him which was unfortunately, his. "Jiminie," Namjoon, his boss called out as he entered Jimin's small office. "Why don't I accompany you to a technician I know? I can pay for it too, I'll just deduct some from your salary." Jimin sighed and said a little "Fine," before standing up and getting his bag. "Thanks for the offer, sir."

Little did Jimin know he wasn't being brought to a technician's place, but a big mansion. All white on the outside and the inside. The modernity of it surprised Jimin but he was sure to get lost of he didn't have Namjoon to tail to. "Why are we here?" He asked and finally looked at Namjoon in the face. "Let's just say the technician I know is here right now for a reason." Jimin sat beside his boss on the big black couch. "Then I'm guessing he's going to ask for so much price just for a broken laptop?" Namjoon chuckled, "He might actually not ask for payment, he's a close friend of mine, you see." Jimin nodded a little with the information.

After a while, they hear heavy footsteps coming down from the stairs. They both looked at its direction and a pale guy was ascending from the second floor. "Sir Namjoon, if you're looking for Jin, he's still on the phone with a businessman."

"Yoongi, well, he isn't really the one we're here for."

Yoongi stood in front of them and Jimin looked at him in the eyes. "Then?"

"We're here for you. I know you're pretty smart with laptops so I wanted you to help my secretary with his problem."

They shared a glance and then Yoongi smiled. "Ah, well, it has been a while since I repaired them but sure I can try." Yoongi asked Jimin to go with him to another part of the mansion- his own little office. "You...work here?" Jimin started and sat on a small couch by the door. "Yeah, boss likes to work at home. Said he treasures this house more than anything. So as his secretary, I kinda needed to always be near him."

Jimin wandered around the room with his eyes, "Pretty good for an office," he said. "What can I say, Min Yoongi, genius. Two words are enough," they laughed to this and Yoongi started looking through Jimin's laptop and it was very silent, too silent for Jimin and he didn't like it. 'Say something!' He breathed out and thought of anything to start another conversation. "So... How long have you been working for Jin?" Yoongi put his glasses on and scrunched his nose to think. "Four or five years? You? How long have you been working for Namjoon?" Jimin counted with his small fingers, "Two years? Yeah. Two years."

Yoongi nodded and then, it was silence again that Jimin was so tired with. 'Very good Jimin.' He looked further through the room and saw a frame of a girl and a boy that looked alike. 'Should I ask him?' 'No, that's too personal.' 'I mean...we can try?' 'No!' He was too busy arguing with himself. A hand waved infront of him and when he looked up, it was Yoongi. "You've been staring at that picture, do you...know them?" Jimin laughed awkwardly, "I'm sorry. No, I don't know them. I was...curious?" It was Yoongi who laughed next, "Alright. Well, I think you should just comeback at another time. It might take time."

Jimin was back in his apartment and with a facade looking very clam and collected, his mind was very much the opposite. There were explosions of words thrown to himself and he couldn't quite understand why his mind was filled with unnecessary thoughts. But, he was very wrong. He was rather troubled by some weird force pushing and pulling on the strings of his mind and heart that ached weirdly after an unexpected meeting.

He hurriedly threw his things aside and collapsed on his bed he missed very much. He's been pulling an all-nighter just to finish a report before his laptop broke down but he was thankful that his hardwork paid off when his presentation was a success.
