"Love and fate...is a beautiful story..."

There was blood on the piano keys with his brother who was badly losing blood on the floor. Glass shards cracked as he stepped back out of fear. "No..." He kept repeating but the nightmare never went away. He heard someone scream and his fast heartbeat stopped. "Please, help me..." It was soft and his saliva dried away after hearing it. He approached the car that crashed the piano. A boy with bleeding plump lips reached out a hand. "Help me."

He didn't hesitate and took the boy's hand. He brought them out and tears filled his eyes as he watched the building set on fire. The ashes flew away as well as his first love. Then, it was pitch black. "Save me...save me..." Yoongi tried to mumble but failed instead. The cold street caught him. At that point, he just wanted the cement to swallow him.

Yoongi teared the piece of paper away and slammed the desk in frustration. He was trying to write down a song for Jimin but his thoughts kept coming back to that day. He grabbed a bottle of water and drank it all at once, the pressure making him almost choke. "Please..."

The cold air was too harsh on his pale skin as he walked to school in a black hoodie with ripped jeans. His right hand was tightly wrapped around the strap of his bag. The growing nails scratched his palm, keeping him awake. He looked at his watch and realized that he lost five hours of sleep and only finished half of his piece for Jimin. He was too busy looking at his watch in disappointment and didn't notice someone approach him from behind.

"Hey, lover boy." Hoseok said and ruffled his friend's hair. "Can you not?" They gave each other a glare and went back to walking peacefully. "Hey, I heard about the project from Ms. Ahn. She assigned me to look out for you."

"Oh, yeah. Actually, I am working on something for him."

"You'll... Work together?"

"Yes. This might just be my chance, don't you think?"

"More like your only chance. We're going to get busier, remember that."

They went to their lockers and prepared for class, the first being Literature. Yoongi decided to wear his glasses for better seeing and fixed his hair for one last time. Once he entered with the other students, the sight of Jimin being all clingy with another student made him weak. But he couldn't do anything about it. He, was after all, just a friend.

'What a coward,' he scolded himself.

The class went well as usual except for the way Jimin avoided him more. He kept eyeing the younger but it seemed like he disappeared in his world. "See, this is what I was talking about." And, of course, Hoseok knew too well what was going on. He breathed out a pitiful breathe and his friend patted his sides. "Better luck next time."

"If there is a next time."

He stood up and exited with the others. They all headed to their next classes and nothing can get more boring than a day without Jimin's usual presence to Yoongi.

School was over and he can finally let himself feel relieved. He went to the Performance Hall where the Dance and Music Club members will meet. He was the last to arrive and everyone turned their heads to him when he closed the big doors except one specific person. 'Seriously?' he thought and went to the two teachers who widely smiled. "Sorry about being late, had to take care of something." He went on stage and put his bag down. He helped the teachers arrange the different instruments and equipments. "Hey, you can just sit down with the rest."
