Demon Lover (pt 2)

That following morning, Ryan was the first one to wake up. Shane was still asleep, it was only 6:30...Ryan's usual time. He let out a groan, he wanted to sleep some more but he knew his body would not let him, Ryan carefully got up out of bed and went into the bathroom to get ready. This was the day the two would make an apology video about the episode. That should make up for it, Ryan heard shuffling as he opened the door to see Shane finally awake. No worries Ryan was already dressed.
"Morning Shane." Ryan hummed.

"Morning Ry." Shane replied tiredly. "What time is it...?"

"Oh it's about six forty-five." Ryan beamed, as he finished up fixing his hair and leaving the bathroom. "Dude you look tired, did you sleep last night?"

Shane was hesitant. "Yeah. I fell asleep just after you." Which was the truth, but he woke up here and there. Since Shane was a higher ranked demon, he had those...senses. He always kept an eye out, whenever he woke up due to the senses he automatically checked on Ryan. "Just woke up a few times is all."

Ryan nodded. "Hey, I...have something to tell you after the apology video."

Shane looked at him, he was curious and nervous. "Alright dude, I actually have something to tell you as well whenever you tell me."

Ryan nodded in response. "Okay. Should we get going?" He asked me. I had not realized for the past minute I was staring at him in awe. I blushed a bit, snapping back to reality.
"Yeah let's get going." I said with a small smile.
We got our things packed and headed back to Buzzfeed. The trip there was a little quiet but maybe Ryan was tired. Shane did not mind the silence but it was still off, he can vividly hear their past trips in this vehicle. Ryan's wheezing laugh, his smile. The way he talked and moved his hands. Shane was so in love, but he first had to come forward about being a demon. He shakily sighed as he drove, that was when Ryan broke the silence. "Shane...are you okay?" He asked softly. I glanced over at him, the silence filled the vehicle again.
"Of course, Ry. I am just thinking is all." Shane replied as he kept his eyes on the road.

Once they made it back to Buzzfeed, they got everything settled and started working on the apology video. The both of them were growing concerned and nervous. Shane dreaded what was coming next. He felt like Ryan would...well reject him. It is proof demons are real, and...that made Shane wonder if that would be the end of BuzzFeed Unsolved.
After the apology video was in process of uploading, Ryan turned to Shane; ready to confess.
"Hey, Ry—before you say what you need to—I think you should know something."

Ryan got nervous and nodded. "Oh—uh alright."

Shane fiddled with a pen. "Well you see—" he stammered. He could feel the tears sting his eyes. "Im a demon! And—and...Ive hid it from you for three years."

Ryan paused. He didn't know what to say. "Three years...?" Was all he could ask.

"Yes.." Shane said softly.

Ryan looked at the ground. "Thank you for telling me."

"Do you hate me?"

"No—I am still in love with you." Ryan smiled weakly.

"You're in love with me-?" He asked and Ryan nodded.
"Well Ry...I am in love with you too."
