4. Staff room

"So hyung, do you wanna join us for lunch?" Kai asked. "Yeah. You guys keep going. I'll join you in a bit" he said. He took out his phone and called his mother. 
"Hello?"
"Hello Eomma! How's Junha doing?" he asked. 
"Yeah! He is playing with the toys in the basket. Do you wanna talk to him?" 
"Yeah, give him the phone"
"Junha-yah! Here, say 'Hello' to Papa. He wants to talk to you" he heard his mom say. He heard many incoherent words being yelled into his ear the second his mother said 'Papa'. He chuckled at his son's excitement.
"A'oo"
"Hello, tiger! See! Papa is in college and made a few new friends!!" he said even though he knew that his son wouldn't understand a single word. As expected, Junha just kept yelling stories and stories in his own language without stopping for a second to listen to what his dad was trying to tell him. He was too excited to tell his father about the new toys that his grandfather bought for him and as expected, Jungkook didn't understand a single word. But he tried his best to react. 
"Oh really? Wooww!! Junha-yah! I have to go now, okay? Tell me everything in the evening. I'll buy a chocolate for you when I come back, okay?" he asked and heard a shriek from the other side. He chuckled as his mother took the phone back before Junha decided that it would be okay to put it in his mouth.
"How's the college?" she asked. 
"It's all fine. Did he eat yet?" 
"Nah. I am gonna feed him now. You don't worry about him. Just attend the college freely" she assured. 
"Okay, then. Take care, Eomma. Bye" 
"Bye" he hung up and walked into the cafeteria with a wide grin. 

"Hyung, here!!" Soobin waved his hand and Jungkook noticed that they had a tray for him as well. He thanked them and sat down. 

"So we have twenty more minutes. What are you gonna do?" Jungkook asked after finishing his lunch. "We'll just go to the Basketball court or something. You can go to the staff room and greet the old teachers if you want. They really missed you, you know! We heard soo many stories about you from them! 'Your senior Jeon Jungkook, your senior Jeon Jungkook' " Yeonjun said, imitating two of his teachers who never stopped talking about him in their classes. 

Jungkook chuckled. "They talked about me in your classes?!" he asked. "You have no idea, hyung! They literally used to mention you at least once every two days" Kai said. "Wow" Jungkook said. "Yeah. Go and meet them, hyung. They really missed you" Soobin said.

"Yeah, you are right! I'll do that" Jungkook said as he stood up and put on his bag. A few girls tried to approach him, but he noticed them and immediately ran out of the cafeteria. 

He knocked on the door and heard a few Come-in's. He opened the door and grinned at the teachers. Most of them were the old ones and remembered him very well. "Good afternoon" he said as he bowed to them. "Ohh Jungkook!! How have you been?" one of the female teachers asked while most of them stopped what they were doing to look at him. 

"I have been good, mam" he said. "I am sorry, I couldn't come again after BTech. It was a bit tight for me" he said. "Ohh no problem, we understand! But the college isn't as disciplined as it was when you guys were there. Even your friends left after BTech, right?" another teacher asked. "No, sir. They completed MTech. Only Yugyeom left after BTech" Jungkook said. "Right yeah" the female teacher said. 

"Ohh, wait. You are in B section, right?" Jungkook turned to see who asked that and noticed his hot Coding Professor staring him with questioning eyes. "Yes, sir" he said. "So what do you mean he left?" Mr. Kim asked one of the teachers. 

"Ohh, he is behind by three batches. He finished BTech three years ago but decided to work instead of going for MTech. He was the topper of his batch. So was one of his friends in his own year. His photo is there on the Wall of Toppers. He even broke the record of all the toppers with his score. 

He and his friends used to be such role models in the college and such sweet kids! We can never forget such kids ever! They were a part of the Student Council. So they used to discipline everybody in the college. The college lost that discipline after they left" one of the teachers said. Jungkook stood there with his ears turning red from all the praise that he was receiving. 

"Wait. So you mean that he disciplined and even the seniors listened to him?" Mr. Kim asked, surprised at the fact. "My friend circle contained people from every year. We disciplined our own years and yeah, surprisingly everyone used to listen to us" Jungkook said shyly. 

"Ohh wow, that's great, man!" Mr. Kim commented and got up to go to the washroom. "So what happened to the others?" one of them asked once Mr. Kim left. "Yugyeom left the University to do MBA, Jimin finished MTech a year after I left, Namjoon hyung finished MTech the same year as I finished BTech and Yoongi hyung finished it when Yugyeom and I were in third year" Jungkook said. 

"Ohh, what are they doing now?" another teacher asked. "Namjoon hyung got married. We are not in touch with Yugyeom anymore. Namjoon hyung is working in some software company along with Yoongi hyung and Jimin is working in some dance studio" Jungkook said. 

"He did MTech and is working in a dance studio?" the teacher asked, perplexed. "Yeah. He always wanted to dance. He did the degree for his parents' satisfaction, but he did not want to work the '9 to 6' jobs" Jungkook said. "Woww, that's gre-" the teacher was cut off by the bell. 

"Well, that's our cue! It's nice to have you back, Jungkook. Revive the college's discipline a bit" on of them said. "Sorry, sir. I can't be in the student council this time. I have got many responsibilities back at home and I have to use the free time here to study. I won't be able to do that at home" he said. "Ohh, okay. But still, it's nice to see you again" he said. 

"Thank you sir. Good afternoon" he said and bowed and went out. 

"Ohh! There you are! How much did you talk, hyung?" Soobin exclaimed. "They had a lot of questions" Jungkook chuckled. "Was the hot professor there in the staff room?" Kai asked, receiving a nudge from Yeonjun. "What?! He is hot!!" Kai defended. Yeonjun facepalmed and sighed. "Sorry, hyung. He is a bit of a pervert. Don't mind him" Yeonjun said. 

"Why?! I find him hot too" Jungkook said as he chuckled and took out the book for the next class, leaving the other three boys to stare at him wide-eyed.
