I sometimes wanna ask my cousin to jump and die somewhere...... :3

Jungkook woke up groggily, feeling better than the last time he woke up. He looked around and wondered how he ended up on the bed when he clearly remembered being on the couch. He looked at the time and realized that it was night already.
He got out of the bed and slowly made his way out of the bedroom, only to find Taehyung and Junha curled up on the couch, fast asleep. The cartoon on the TV was still running.
He frowned at Taehyung and looked at his hand again.
There it was, the ring.
He walked closer and bent down to observe it closely.
Gold.
Now that it was confirmed that he was married, he didn't know whether he should directly ask him about it or he should wait for Taehyung to bring it up himself.
It was his fever haze last night that was making him feel all the extra distress, but now that he could think straight, he realized that it wasn't exactly something that Taehyung could spring out in a conversation.
Jungkook had a few doubts, though. Why was he living with his brother if he already had a wife? Why wasn't he living with her? Was she living abroad? Why didn't he ever talk about her?
There were many other questions running around in his mind, but his first thought was to wake the two of them and let them sleep comfortably.
"Taehyung.....hey.....wake up....Taehyung..." he gently shook Taehyung's shoulder, but in spite of the gentleness, the elder jolted up.
"Ohh! What's it? Are you okay? Did something happen? Sorry, I didn't mean to sle-" "Hey, it's okay. I'm okay. There is a bed in the guest room. Go and sleep over there. It's almost night, anyways" Jungkook said, still sounding weak.
"Are you really feeling okay? You are still warm" Taehyung frowned, placing the back of his palm on Jungkook's forehead.
"I am feeling better than the last time I woke up. It'll be fine. Go and sleep in the guest room" he said, going towards Junha to pick him up and take him to the bedroom.
"No, it's okay. I'm feeling hungry. Do you wanna eat something?" Taehyung asked, getting off the couch and stretching his body. "No. But I have to feed Junha" Jungkook said.
"Ohh, I already gave him some Chocos earlier. Just let him sleep. He was quite scared by the way you were. He was crying for you the whole evening" Taehyung said.
He noticed how Jungkook struggled to lift the kid up. "I'll take him to the bedroom. Do you wanna sleep more or do you wanna stay awake for a while?" he asked, taking Junha away from Jungkook and walked to the bedroom. He changed his clothes and tucked him under the sheets.
"Stay awake for a while" Jungkook said, pulling out a sweater from one of his drawers and putting it on. "Okay, then. Let's watch a movie or something. I'll order dinner for myself" Taehyung said. "I wanna talk. Are you gonna stay here tonight?" Jungkook asked, settling on the couch and making himself warm and comfortable.
"Yeah, I'm gonna stay. Talk about what?" Taehyung asked, sitting on the other corner of the couch and putting his legs up, facing Jungkook. "You order your food first" Jungkook said and stared at him as Taehyung concentrated on what he wanted to eat.
"Done" Taehyung said, throwing the phone in between them and criss-crossing his legs further. "So what do you wanna talk about? Stacks and Queues?" Taehyung asked, grinning. "About your ring" Jungkook deadpanned. Taehyung's smile dropped.
"What about it?" he asked. "When were you going to tell me that you were married, Taehyung? How long were you going to hide it from me?" Jungkook asked, staring straight into Taehyung's eyes. Taehyung frowned and gulped.
"I didn't exactly hide it, did I? It is not something I can simply bring out in a conversation" he said. Jungkook stared at Taehyung for a while.
'Right. He didn't hide it from me. I was the idiot who never noticed it. I shouldn't blame him for my foolishness' he thought and looked down.
"Where is she now?" he asked, slowly. He slowly looked up to see tears in Taehyung's eyes. He started feeling guilty for asking the question and was about to change the topic when Taehyung cut him off. "He" Taehyung said through the lump in his throat. "Huh?" Jungkook didn't understand. "It was a he, Jungkook" Taehyung said.
He?
He?
HE???
'Taehyung is gay?????'
"Wait......'was'?" Jungkook asked, furrowing his eyebrows. Taehyung heaved a heavy sigh and Jungkook could swear he heard a small sniff. "He died two months after our marriage" Taehyung said. This time Jungkook was sure he heard the voice crack.
"Oh my god, I'm soo sorry" he said, feeling really bad for bringing it up.
'Right. It really wasn't something that Taehyung could have brought up in a conversation casually. Like, what would he have said? 'Hey Jungkook, I'm married and my husband died two months after our marriage'? Poor him, I shouldn't have asked him anything' he thought.
Taehyung cleared his throat. "I don't wanna talk about it, Kook. It has been two years until now. I did get over him, but I still feel very bad. I loved him soo much. So did he. It still hurts" he said.
"Yeah. I am sorry...." Jungkook said, looking down.
"Can I ask you something?" Taehyung suddenly asked. "Sure!" Jungkook exclaimed, determined to answer truthfully. After all, Taehyung did answer truthfully even though he didn't finish talking about it.
"Who is Jennie?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook froze. Soon his bottom lip trembled. He looked down immediately. "M-My little s-sister" he said, voice full of cracks. "So...Junha is..." Taehyung trailed off, hoping Jungkook would continue. "My nephew....yeah. I adopted him last year" Jungkook said, tears now running down freely.
"W-What happened to h-her?" Taehyung asked, remembering how Jungkook yelled that fever tablets killed her. "It's a long story......I'm not yet ready to talk about the whole ordeal...she killed herself last year by swallowing a box full of strong fever medicines..." Jungkook's voice was barely above a whisper.
"Oh my god.....what about Junha?" Taehyung asked, putting a hand on his mouth, shocked at what he just heard. He now understood where Jungkook's fear of tablets came from.
"He was too young to understand what was happening. He did notice her absence, but he was just one and half years old when it happened and he already saw me as a father, so it wasn't that hard for him to get used to it" Jungkook explained, still looking down.
"Ohh...he is very adorable" Taehyung said. "Yeah..."
There was a bit of silence before Taehyung realized something. "Hey Jungkook!" he called out, making the younger lift his head up. "Happy Birthday, man!!" Taehyung wished, springing forward to hug him.
'Damn these butterflies!! Damn my heart!!' Jungkook thought as he hugged him back and thanked him for the wishes. "Let's video call the others. Yoongi hyung and Jimin went to shop for their wedding, you know?" Taehyung asked. "Woah! Really? Ohh it's just two weeks away, right!!" Jungkook exclaimed.
"Yeah!! We are gonna have a lot of fun soon" Taehyung said, shifting so that he and Jungkook could fit in the frame of the phone.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAMP!!!" all of them yelled the second the call connected, making Jungkook cover his ears with a huge grin on his face. "Thank you soo much!!" he said and all of them talked for a long time, Jungkook's grin never leaving his face.
