32. Sorry, what?!

"Now go" Taehyung said, pecking Jungkook's lips gently.

"Professor Kim Taehyung is requested to report to the Principal's Cabin immediately. I repeat, Professor Kim Taehyung is requested to report to the Principal's Cabin immediately" the speakers across the college boomed. 

"Ohh! Why?" Taehyung asked Jungkook, who had not yet left his cabin. "D-Dunno" Jungkook said, but a bead of sweat trickling down his forehead threatened to betray him. Fortunately, Taehyung was too busy adjusting his tie, pants and hair to notice Jungkook's tense posture. 

Jungkook was suddenly hit by a horrifying thought. 'He doesn't remember anything, right?? And they are gonna ask him stuff! Oh my god, now what?!?!!' he thought. 

"T-Tae, I'll come with you too" he said. Taehyung looked at Jungkook with his fingers frozen halfway through his hair. "Why?" he asked. "Just like that. I have a free period and nothing to do" Jungkook said. 

"No, no! Stay here. Or if you want, wait outside the cabin. But you can't come inside" Taehyung said with such finality that Jungkook couldn't argue further. 

But he didn't know what to do. What was the use of standing outside the cabin when Taehyung didn't know anything about why he was being called? What was the use of him standing outside when they threw questions at him about something that he didn't even remember happened? 

He groaned mentally before following him to the cabin. He slipped into the cabin in the last moment so that Taehyung wouldn't have anything to say. 

Soohyeon was standing in the cabin with a huge bruise on her throat. "Good afternoon, sir" Taehyung bowed to the Principal. "Ohh my god, what happened to your throat?" he asked her the second he noticed her bruise. 

"What?!" she asked incredulously. "Your throat" Taehyung said, pointing to the bruise on her throat. "Well, that's what I want you to explain, Mr. Kim" the Principal said. 

"Sorry?" Taehyung asked, not understanding why the Principal was asking him to explain something that he obviously didn't know about. 

"That bruise. Tell me what it was that made you choke her so horribly" the Principal said. Even though he sounded calm, they could sense the anger within him. 

"Sorry sir, there seems to be some misunderstanding. I did not do anything to her. I was with Mr. Jeon the whole time" Taehyung said, pointing towards Jungkook who stood with his head hanging low. 

The girl was now gaping at Taehyung with an expression close to a scoff and disbelief. 

"Mr. Jeon, I believe you were with him when it happened. Can you tell me what happened? I did not expect this from you of all people. You used to discipline the college in your Under Graduation days, right? Where did that discipline go?" the Principal asked. 

"Sorry sir, you really seem to be misunde-" "Yes, sir. He did choke her" Jungkook cut Taehyung off, earning a gasp from him. "Jungkook, what the hell?! Are you nuts?!" Taehyung asked, not caring about the Principal's presence. 

"No, Mr. Kim! Looks like you are the one who's nuts. Either that, or you are pretending nothing happened" the Principal said. "What? What are you even talking about, sir? And Jungkook, what the hell is happening?!" Taehyung asked. 

Jungkook heaved a heavy sigh and lifted his head up. "Sir, can I talk to you in private?" he asked. The Principal stared at him for a while, weighing his options before sending the other two out. 

"I know I am being very informal right now, but please excuse me, sir. I just want you to understand the situation well. Mr. Kim is my boyfriend. We met outside the college and got together. You remember Kim Namjoon, right? Taehyung is his brother-in-law.
