Knocking on Layla's door for the fifthtime I was getting really pissed at her. She has been MIA since we came back from. Claudia banged on the door also but there was still no answer. We need to discuss the stuff for treys funeral. I got the programs and the casket all ready.
I rolled my eyes "you know what fuck it" I say "since she wants to stay HERE! Because I offered her to stay with us"
"Seems like she wants to stay in her and Treys house then" Claudia shrugs
I took a Deep breath pulling up her welcome mat and helping myself to the old key under the mat. I opened her door and she was standing in the kitchen making herself of fuckin BREAKFAST!
Claudia and I walk into the house and closed the door behind us.
"Um...ma'am" I say walking towards the kitchen
She looks up and stopped cooking and smiled "hey y'all"
"Don't "hey y'all" us! You been MIA for the past week!" Claudia slightly screams
"Oh...I'm sorry. I've just been busy"
"That's okay" I say "What have you been busy with?"
"Ignore the fact that she hase not called or texted. Okay then" Claudia said sitting at the island table. I flicked her forehead and sat next to her.
Layla comes to the table smiling and she pulled out a chair and sat down.
"Well..." she says and clears her throat. "I'm...pregnant"
"CAP!" Claudia says "SAY BIBLE!"
"Bible" Layla says "I'm not playing"
I looked at Layla and my eyes got all watery. "Awww...your gonna make me cry. Layla your FOREAL!"
"Yes! I took a whole bunch of pregnancy when we were in Hawaii and boom I'm pregnant"
Claudia gasped "by who?"
I looked at Claudia like she was dumb "Trey obviously"
Claudia squints her eyes "soooo...Layla fucked a ghost?"
