Chapter 16 : Along the way

Chanyeol's POV

" Hush , Mr. Kang , please drop the formalities you are older than me , please call me Yuri ... "

The others glanced up to her completely shocked . She offered Mr. Kang a cup of water and even asked her to get anything he wants . Until I didn't noticed that I was slowly smiling just staring at her ...

I sighed mentally and looked down again to the menu , what is wrong with me ? I shrugged my thoughts and asked for the waiter . I gave my order while the others did too . The waiter took our menu as we finished ordering for our food . I looked down to my fingers and started playing with it . My mind was a complete mess , I didn't know what to think of for the meantime , until , Yuri suddenly came up to my mind .

My forehead creased , why the hell am I thinking of her ? I shook my head , until Jisoo who was sitting beside me noticed . She turned to me with her eyebrows twitched in confusion . " Are you alright , Chanyeol ? You look deep in thoughts . " she spoke . I looked up to her and shook my head . " Its nothing . "

The following minutes was completely silent . Let's everyone was in their own worlds , or more like they're doing their own things . Rose and Yeri  was in their phone the whole time , Jisoo along with Momo went by the opposite store since our orders were coming late maybe by 15 more minutes . Yuri started scrolling by her phone too , also Mr . Kang .

I sighed , It was getting pretty boring so I closed my eyes for a moment and rested my back against the couch . Until then I heard a chair move , I opened my eyes and glanced to the direction and it was Yuri , she stood up taking her purse.

" I'll be by the opposite store too for a while . Can you take care of the bags for a while , Mr. Kang ? Just call me when the food arrives . " she smiled making her way . She soon left and it was only me , Rose , Yeri and Mr . Kang . I sighed again , it was boring as hell . Until , I remembered that I'm visiting my friends tomorrow . I stood up and ready to go out when someone held me by the arm . I looked back and it was Rose .

" Oppa , where are you going ? Can I come with you ? " she asked . My mouth opened to speak but I just ended up nodding . She smiled and held me by the arm before we finally left .

Your POV

As I left the restaurant for a while , I smiled . It was all boring waiting for the food to arrived so I decided to look around for a while . I went not far by a flower shop . I could maybe visit Jennie's , Irene's and Joy's grave later before I go home . I sighed , tomorrow would be their 40th day , so their families would be by their graves tomorrow . I couldn't risk visiting their tomorrow and be seen by them . I smiled with a heavy heart and entered the shop .

" Goodmorning , young lady . What could I get you ? " a woman in her 40's greeted me . I smiled at her and bowed . " I'm here for some flowers for a friend . " I smiled . She nodded and went to get some bouquets for moment so I had the time to wander around for a while . I noticed a few flowers that they would love . The woman came back with a bouquet filled with mixed flowers . I smiled , " Their beautiful , but can I maybe get some more lilies and 2 more , just the medium one , please .  I'll pay extra for more lilies . " I spoke . She smiled and nodded right away . 

I sat by the bench until I received a call from Mr . Kang . " Ms. Lee , the food has arrived , I've informed the others about it and are on the way here . " he spoke by the phone . " Okay , Mr. Kang . I'll be there any minute . Thanks for telling me ." I hanged up and the woman exactly arrived . I smiled at her as she handed me a wide bag with the 3 bouquet flowers . I sighed and payed the bill for the flowers . I bowed one last time before I finally left the store .

Chanyeol's POV

We arrived in front of the restaurant as long as we got Mr. Kang's message telling us about the food arriving . As we step inside , everyone was there except Yuri . We sat by the table and everyone started eating , while I looked around looking for Yuri . I didn't know why I was waiting for her . I clicked my tounge , and finally took a plate .

Just until I was about to bite into my pizza , Mr . Kang stood up and exclaimed . " Yuri , you're here . " he smiled . I dropped my food and looked behind Mr . Kang revealing Yuri with a bag of flowers in her hand . We met eyes for a moment but she soon broke it . She smiled and dropped her bag , and finally sat down beside Yeri .

Jisoo's POV

As we sat down by the table , everyone began to dig in into the food . I couldn't lie , I was literally hungry , but looks like not everyone is . I felt myself smiling when I noticed Chanyeol was the only one looking around . Looking for Y/n , eh ? I laughed mentally , I was literally happy for Y/n , from the first place I knew her plan was to break Chanyeol and Rose's relationship but I think Chanyeol is going to do that himself when he realizes his feelings for Y/n .

" Yuri , you're here . " Mr . Kang exclaimed , I turned by my right and Yuri was there holding a bag of flowers . I looked down to my food once again , I sighed . I suddenly remembered that tomorrow's their 40th day . I still felt so guilty for not doing anything that day . Maybe if I did something to stop them , everything would have been fine .

A half hour later , we finally finished eating . Minutes of talking and eating was fun and worth it . We even got to get to know Mr . Kang more and his story was lovely . We all stood up after , taking our bags and paying the bill . Minutes again , and we left the restaurant . We where in our way out , it was almost 5pm so we had to go .

But along the way , we didn't expect to see the bitches along the way . " Rose , Jisoo ! It's so nice to ran into you here ! " Lisa beamed , and she was with the other , Seulgi . Rose's forehead creased , " Pardon ? " she asked the two . I glanced to Y/n and saw her silent . Her hand was forming into a fist but didn't show it . " Oh ? New friend , I see ? " Seulgi spoke waving to Y/n , and lending a hand . " Hi , I'm Seulgi , and my friend Lisa . And yours ? " she smiled . Tsk , how fake .

Y/n looked up to them from top to toe before finally forming a fake smile and shaking hands with them . " Yuri . " she said . The two seemed upset by the attitude but made a fake smile instead . "
