Chapter 15 : Shopping

" If you only knew , Chanyeol ... "

" Pardon ? " he asked averting his eyes on me . I awkwardly laughed . " Eh ? Nothing ? Haha ... " Shit . That was close ...

His forehead creased in confusion so I turned my back at him and hoped he won't ask me more . I heard him cleared his throat and there was again a big silence between us .

I played with my fingers for the few minutes as no one of us talked . Finally , the van arrived ... Finally ! ... Chauffeur Kang stepped out the van and greeted me with a smile . " Ms. Lee , shall we ? " he opened the door for me . I almost forgot that Rose was coming with us though ...

" You should go inside , I'll tell the others that the van arrived ." He arrived and walked away . I smiled at Chauffeur Kang before finally stepping inside the van . The aircon was turned on which made me felt cold for a moment which Chauffeur  Kang noticed . " I'm sorry , Ms. Lee , I could turn the aircon off if you're cold . " he spoke turning tk me . I smiled and nodded . " That would be great , Korea is getting cold these days .. " I spoke . He nodded and turned the aircon off .

I sat by the front seat and began scrolling by my phone . I laughed as I found many DM's and messages from guys from our university and some from different schools .. hmm , I wonder .

×××× : Hey gorgeous , can I take you out on a date ?

×××× : Noona , you're single right ? I really like you .

×××× : I like you , noona . Can I please take you on a date ?

×××× : Yuri right ? Such a gorgeous name like the owner . ;)

What the heck ? I turned off my phone and layed back . That's when the others entered the van . Rose entered fanning herself with the others following her . Chanyeol was the last to enter and he sat at the opposite side beside me . He did ! I don't know why I feel so awkward near him .

I shrugged my thoughts and began scrolling into my phone again even though I had nothing to do ... just felt like I need a distraction than to be caught staring at him , right --- Wait , did I just said that ??!! Forget I said that ... ugh .

" We're almost there , Ms . Lee . " Chauffeur Kang spoke . I nodded and placed my phone back to my purse . I took my mirror and checked my makeup , I guess a little touch up won't hurt . I took my water tint and applied in my lips .

" I guess looks matter , right ? " I flinched in the sudden voice . I turned beside me and it was Chanyeol but he was talking to Rose who was fixing her look too .

" Still need to touch up , eh? We're just going to the mall , jeez .. " he spoke . Lol . I was doing the same too though , whatever . I placed my things back into my purse . After a few minutes we finally arrived in the mall , Chauffeur Kang parked and we opened the door as we parked by the basement of the mall . I and the others left our bags inside the van and we only bought with us our money and valuable things .

Once we got out , Chauffeur Kang locked the doors and turned to me . " I will be following you , Ms . Lee . Your father ordered . " he bowed . Heck what ? Haish , dad !! I groaned . " Do you really have to ? We could be by ourselves . " I ran my fingers through my hair . " But , Mistress . Your father knew about the trip and he insists that I assist you . I will be carrying your bags . " he insist . I groaned in annoyance again but nodded .

We walked inside the mall and believe me , it felt weird . Chauffeur Kang was following us everywhere that some people started staring at us . We went to a few shops where we looked for swim wears. Chauffeur Kang insisted on carrying my bags and so I didn't budge and just let him carry it . I went to shop for some clothes I could use along the beach . I missed the hot weather , gladly Jeju could still give me the weather I was looking for .

After a few hours of walking around the mall , we were exhausted . " Hey , let's go to the restaurant nearby . We could take a rest there and eat , I'm hungry . " Chanyeol spoke . The others and I agreed to go . We were hungry and exhausted anyway . We followed Chanyeol along the way , he said that he knows the finest restaurant around here .

" Hey , Chauffeur Kang , would you mind carrying my shopping bags too ? " Rose groaned and believe me -- that made me annoyed . Chauffeur Kang was taken aback , he turned to Rose and bowed at her . I could see the smirk plastered against her lips . How dare she , who does she think she is ? Hah !

" I'm sorry , Miss . But , I am only allowed to take orders from my mistress .. " he bowed which made Rose jaw drop in embarrassment --- and the others couldn't help but laugh . Rose glared at them which made them stop , I would be honest but that was a total BURN . I almost died laughing if she wasn't facing me though .

She rolled her eyes , " Tch . Whatever . " she spoke and walking away . As she walked further , we let out our laughs . " Omg . That was hilarious . No kidding ... " Jisoo laughed . The others laughed too including me , and Chanyeol who couldn't help but to . Chauffeur Kang stood there confused but we ignored him . I pat his shoulder and we walked together , catching up with Rose . She must be really embarrassed , well , more like UPSET .

We arrived inside the restaurant Chanyeol was talking about and it looked fancy . I turned to Chauffeur Kang to say something when I caught him looking around and through the menu . He looked like it was his first time here though , I felt bad he dueserve to be here . A hard worker like him deserves a treat . I smiled at myself as we look for a place to sit . Chauffeur Kang placed the bags aside and just stood there .

" Mr . Kang ? Aren't you going to sit ? " I asked him while the others sat reading the menu . " No , mistress . I will stand here and wait . " he spoke . I sighed mentally . How can he do that ? Then he'll just watch us eat ? That sucks ... I wonder how the others felt about that . His job just seems horrible ...

" No . " I spoke . Making the others around our table look at me . " Pardon , Ms . Lee ? " he asked . I sighed . " I said no . You're not just gonna watch us eat while you stand there like a robot , Mr . Kang . Come sit with us , at least have some water you must be exhausted like us . " I spoke .

I can tell he was shocked . He thinked twice but did as I say and sat across me . I smiled and poured a water for him , handing it to him . He was more shocked as the others , I mean , does it looked weird that I'm offering a water to my chauffeur .

" I -- Thank you , Ms . Lee , but you didn't have to . " he said taking the cup from my hand . " Hush , Mr . Kang . It's nothing , and please drop the formality , you are older than me , please call me Yuri . " I smiled . " Oh , but -- "

" Yuri . " I spoke again . He awkwardly smiled . " Thank you , Y-yuri .. " he spoke . I felt myself smiling . He continued drinking his water and the waiter finally went to us . The rest of us gave there orders , before I give my order , I approached Mr . Kang first . " Mr . Kang , what do you want to eat ? It's on me . " I smiled . His eyes widen and so did the others .

" Oh no , Yuri . You don't need to .. " he spoke . I groaned mentally , he's hard headed too . " Really, yuri ? First you give him water , now you're treating him food . He's just a Chauffeur , he works for you . " Rose spoke . I can tell Mr . Kang was hurt by those words but I completely ignored her . " Come on , Mr . Kang . I owe you for carrying my bags , and your the only one among the house that I'm not close to . " I pouted . He shyly smiled . " But , I can't . This place looks so luxurious . The food is too expensive , I couldn't pay you back , yuri ... " he spoke .

" No , Mr . Kang . Who says you have to pay me back . Haish , come on . Please ? " I frowned hoping it would work . He scratched his nape awkwardly but nodded anyway . I cheered in victory and gave him the menu . " Get anything you want , It's on me . " I spoke . " O-okay ... Thank you ." He smiled .

" No worries .. " I smiled back .
