Chapter 21 : A Date ? -- um not really .

Heyow ! Hehey Im back , yes , I'm finally back iwwwjskwiwhhjjsiwi . So , I did this chapter as I can , im truly sorry for grammar errors or what but um , i hope you enjoy this chapter . I wrote this as I finish class because I know I owe you alot 🥺🥺 . Anyways , Imma tell again about the Q & A I posted before this . " Are you maybe , free tonight ? "

He laughed softly , making me look at him weirdly . " For what ? " I spoke , pulling my wrist away from him . I immediately saw the change of his expression . He sighed , " No , nothing . Just , um . " He stopped putting his hands in his pocket . " You know , it's been years since we hang out . Were friends , right ? " he cleared his throat but didn't look at my eyes . I laughed mentally .

" Kim SeokJin . " I called out his name making him look  at me . I looked straight at his eyes and felt myself sigh mentally . Yes , it was true . I haven't even made time for the people who truly cared for me , the people I only have in this world . But ,

" Fine . " I sighed deeply . I can see the smile forming in his lips and the way his eyes sparkled in excitement . " Don't think of it as a date , okay ? " I rolled my eyes and walked away from him . " I'll pick you up , 6pm . " He shouted along the corridors . I laughed a little and gave him a thumbs up , not bothering to look back .

Jin POV

" Fine . "

" Don't think of it as a date , okay ? " she rolled her eyes , walking away . I felt myself smile when I notice the forming smile against her lips . I smiled even wider when she turned her back and I heard her slight laugh . " I'll pick you up , 6pm . " I yelled along the hall . She gave a thumbs up without turning back at me . I immediately smiled and I never felt more happy .

I took my phone from my pocket and dialed a friend . " Prepare everthing for tonight . She's coming . " I spoke with a big smile on my face . " Omo , jinja . That's great . I'll prepare everything then . Goodluck my friend . " He ended the call . I smiled again and scrolled on my phone . Marking the calendar and the time .

I looked up to where she walked to . A big smile slowly formed in my lips ...

" Happy Birthday , y/n - ah .... "

Y/N POV

I sighed as I closed my locker . I looked at the paper in ny hands and immediately groaned . I haven't given Jimin his schedule yet . Ugh , and I'll be showing him around school later . I groaned mentally and turned to walk back to the cafeteria . I enter the hall and immediately found the table with Rose and the girls .

" Hey . " She greeted with a smile . I faked a smile back and sat beside Jisoo . " You look pale , are you alright ? " Jisoo approached me . I touched my face and looked at her confused . " Really ? " I took my mirror and looked at myself . " Eh . Put some more lip tint . Here , I have these . " Rose spoke handing me a lip tint from her purse . " Thanks . " I nodded and applied some on my lips . I smiled at myself again and placed the mirror back on my purse . I gave her back her tint and smiled .

" They have ice cream selling today . You want some ? " Yeri asked in excitement . " Nah . Let's just have some ice cream later . Baskin Robins , call ? " Rose spoke making everyone's mood light up . Everyone nodded with a smile but again , the smile faded when I remembered I have to take Jimin in a tour . " oh no . " I bit my lip , smile fading . Momo looked at me in confusion , " Why ? Do you have something to do after ? " she asked . I nodded my head , " I have to take the new student in a school tour . " I frowned . Jisoo pouted , " aw ~ "

" New student ? Ah . The cute guy , what's his name again ? " Momo turned to Yeri asking her . " Jimin . Park Jimin . That's his name . I heard that he's a good dancer . " Yeri spoke . I can't help but glance to see Rose' reaction upon hearing his name . She looked surprised and nervous apon hearing his name . But she shook her head lightly , and seemed uninterested after . It felt weird that those were the only reactions I got from her . I mean -- she liked Jimin a lot and that's it ?

I looked away from her before she noticed me . I took the schedule from my bag and walked over to Jimin and his friends' table . Later , I realized that he was also sitting with SeokJin . Hah . I facepalmed myself mentally until Jin noticed me . He smiled a little and I slightly smiled back at him before I approached Jimin .

I pat his shoulder making him turn around at me . He smiled and gretted me with a small smile . " Ah hello ."
I awkwardly smiled and handed him the schedule ." The principal wanted to give you this . It's your schedule for the everyday . And don't forget , later . After class . " I tried not to show a sign of awkwardness . He took the paper and smiled , " Okay . Thank you . " He nodded . I looked at him one last time before I turned around to go back to the table . I felt like my heart was going to explode any minute . What if he recognizes me ? Ugh .

I shook my head lightly and went back to our table with the girls .

JiMin POV

I smiled and took the paper from her hands . " Okay . Thank you . " she looked at me again before she turned away to maybe go back to her table . I glanced at the schedule and I have dance class next . I smiled and placed it inside my bag . " Wow . Jimin being lucky on the first day , eh ? " Hoseok laughed . I looked up to them and smiled a little . " Why ? " i asked . " Yuri is the hottest girl in campus . Every guy wants to be spending time with her . Then , she be touring you around later . Damn , Jimin . You lucky my bro . " Yoongi laughed giving Jimin a pat .

" Anyways , how did it go ? Are you dating now ?  " Namjoon spoke munching into his food , turning to SeokJin . I looked at him and he laughed awkwardly . " No , we're not dating okay ? . I asked her out tonight and she said yes . " Jin spoke making everyone on the table stop . Silence .

" No way . You just asked her and that's it ? " Hoseok spoke . " Wah , I should've asked her out immediately if I knew that was all . I thought there were ' requirements ' . " Yoongi spoke emphasizing the word ' requirements ' .

" You like her ? " The question suddenly slipped off my mouth . Jin looked at me surprised . It was a moment of silence , no one moved but looked at him waiting for an answer .

" I do . A lot ... "
