Adora's POV

I was heading down the street on my way to my shift. I hurriedly check my pocket watch to realize I'm gonna be late if I don't arrive within the next 10 minutes. Guess this will be another sprint, I think to myself. I look up and see that the street is fairly clear. I gulp down any remainder of my pride and start dashing through the small agglomerations in the streets.

"I should really get a car, or a motorbike" I silently whisper to myself. Although my time is very limited, I always like to enjoy the scenery as I make my way to work. The wide array of vehicles, the different fashion styles, the crying toddlers and the stressed out parents. Everyone is out here, doing their own thing.

Following that train of thought, I seem to forget that there's also people infront of me.

I accidentally bump into someone from behind. My face was met with a wild mane of brown hair that smelled like cinnamon. "I'm so sorry, I'm in such a hurry I didn't notice you standing here", I hurriedly apologize.

The person in question turns around and looks me in the eye, "I'd like to think you did notice me, and just wanted an excuse to speak" she slyly mentions. Her eyes are striking, one of them is a gorgeous shade of aqua blue you'd see in those ads for hotels, and the other mimicked the color of the sun, a beautiful shade of yellow.

I swallow a lump in my throat, "I didn't, I swear", I stutter out. Slowly fixing my posture and regaining my confidence, "but since I disturbed you from your day, would you mind if I made it up to you with ice cream?" I ask.

Her posture seems to relax too, "That'd be great", she says while extending her hand. "The name's Catra"

"Adora", I say shaking her hand. "Meet me at Lucy's Dinner after 6".

"I'll be there".

Shorter one this time around. I wanted to write something quick and cheesy, so this was the result. Maybe I'll do a follow up with the date. Thanks for continuing to read this awful one-shots book lol, and thank you because the book is #46 in Catra???? yea idk either, but thanks anyways :)
