"The nerve of that orange headed kid," Hurricane growled, "He has no respect for someone's own territory." "Hurricane, relax," I told him, "In fact, he just starting to getting to know me better, I hope that is the case." "Well, I hope he cleans up his act," said Hurricane, "Odds are, he's probably wanting to use you as bait for something that I hope that he will not be using you for anything." "WILLIAM HURRICANE!!!!" screamed Shadow Phoenix. That got Hurricane to shut the hell up, Talon looks at him, "Don't put those thoughts into her head!" "I was talking about her secret relationship with Shuhei," said Hurricane, "Ichigo is a complete different story, but with Shuhei, I doubt that he is the one for you, Akari." "Well, let's see on how this will turn out," I told him, "because I'm not giving up on anyone." "You shouldn't give up," said Talon, "That's why somehow Ichigo wanted you here in the first place, I was feeling that he knows something about you than you do." "Does he?" I asked, "I'll ask him later for right now, I'm going to be focusing on bonding with Raven, Levy, Talon, and Hurricane." "Well, we are here at my orphanage so I hope those 3 would understand," said Hurricane. Raven and Levy both nodded, same with Talon, Hurricane said, "Alrighty then, let's get to my original name, yes, my original name is William but Hurricane is a nickname of mine that stuck with me ever since I resigned myself from the Air Force in the United States." "United States, where's that at?" I asked. Mother pointed to the map of the world and pointed at a continent named North America, Hurricane continued, "My full name is William Skyler Hunnicut."
It was very interesting on how Hurricane got his start, "Everyone kept calling me Hurricane, mainly because every time I'm on the front line of the battle field, I'm constantly destroying enemy territory like a hurricane would." "I see, anything else?" I asked. He chuckled, "Sadly, what opened my eyes was when I was ordered to kill innocent families, I just couldn't do it. My heart was hurting so much when children were involved, I told my commanding officer that I refuse to kill children no matter how bad my enemy was. That's what got me to remodel my home into an orphanage because I became too soft for children." "What did your commanding officer do when you refused?" asked Talon. Hurricane looked at him, "When I refused, he took 5 steps towards 3 children, drew his gun, next thing I knew was when I defended those children. I won the battle between myself and the officer, I was told that I did a great thing to protect the children but not enough to defend the parents OF the children. When every one of my members in my platoon, they knew that my heart was in the right place because I was the only one that knew that my commanding officer HATED children." I couldn't believe on what I was hearing, Hurricane sacrificed everything to protect children with what he knew on what he had to do in order to protect the innocent. Levy asked, "Did your commanding officer report you?" "No, I was the brave one to report him," said Hurricane, "Lucky enough, everyone accepted my offer and forced him to leave the Air Force and never came back." "What happened then?" asked Raven.
"Remember when I approached you, Akari, was I being too much of a gentleman to you?" asked Hurricane. I nodded, he continued on, "Well, I can't help but being a gentleman when it comes to a lady, I was the only brother out of, I believe, 5 sisters, so all I know is that no one should ever harm a lady of any kind. Not only did I protect the children then but I also protected all the mothers who were protecting their children." "So, your heart went out to all of them," said mother, "Your commanding officer saw you as a weak colonel, right?" "Yeah, but the children gave me the strength when he was about to harm one of them," said Hurricane, "No one ever harms a child in front of me and gets away with it." "Back to your chivalry towards women," said Talon, "Something tells me that he knows that your heart belonged to someone." "Yeah, she happened to be a lady that was struggling to keep a job," said Hurricane, "She was one out of many of the homeless ladies, my heart went out to her, she was so elegant and mysterious, she had a very vibrant purple hair, with striking electric yellow eyes. She told me that her name was Evangeline Heart, she was evicted from her home because of the most stupidest reason. She was on time with her rent pay but she was told that her bill went up to the point where she can't get that much so she paid the debt with what she had in her apartment and was eventually kicked out of the apartment complex all because she refused to work at a place where she had to do some things that was never crossing her mind."
Throughout the entire day, I spent my time with Hurricane and the other elementals that I got so far, Hurricane said to me, "By the way, if you'd thought that my puns and Talon's puns are bad, watch out for this terrible elemental spirit." "Oh no," said Talon, "Yes, he is THE WORST out of us 2." "What is his name?" I asked. Hurricane answered, "You'll meet him soon enough." "Alright," I said, walking back to Ichigo's home. As soon as I was making my way back, I felt a instant chill, Levy sees this, "Oh, we should've worked on your water moves because you are witnessing a frost." "Is this natural?" I asked. Levy nodded, "It is a way for you to getting to use to absolute zero temperature, basically this is Blizzard's way of letting you know that you have a lot of moves to master." "I'm willing to master any element that comes my way," I told her, "I mean, I've dealt with extreme hot temperature before, I'm eager to master the cold elements." "Oh you will," said Levy, "Because you have a long journey ahead of you." "How many do I have left?" I asked. Hurricane counted, "Since there is 13 of us, let's see Shadow Phoenix, me, Talon, Raven, and Levy, 8 of us elementals for you to find." "Well since Blizzard is out this early that makes it 7," said Levy. Talon corrected, "6, if you count the Balance idiot." "I mean, I feel her, I just don't see her," I told them. Raven pointed to me, "That's exactly right, Blizzard is only lending a fraction of her ice powers because her and Levy share both water and ice." "Well, considering both water and ice are technically the same thing but in different forms," I said, "I know my science."
I went inside of Ichigo's home, noticed that he was interacting with his little sisters, lucky for him that he has sisters, I never knew what it is like to be part of a full family, I mean, don't get me wrong I love my elementals but they are not enough to plug up this missing piece. Hurricane sees this, somehow made himself known because one of Ichigo's sisters, Yuzu, spots him with me, "Who's your friend, Akari?" "His name is William Hurricane," I responded, trying to remain happy even though I'm broken on the inside. She just smiled, but I can already tell someone is looking through the smile, Hurricane sees through the smile, he quietly asks, "Didn't you grew up with Shadow Phoenix, Akari?" "It was only her and myself," I responded, "I never really knew what it was like to be part of a family." "Well, that's no way to start your own life with," says Hurricane, "I mean, you are a very sweet gal and you are a extremely tough cookie in battle and outside of battle." "Thanks," I tell him, "I always go into full aggression, I was always like that." "I see, but you can't fight with pure rage, sometimes you need to act calm because you can get overpowered by the wind." "It's the only way to calm her down," I tell him. Levy says, "Don't worry, as long as I am around I'll just splash water over her, it cools her temper down real quick." "That's right because all of her siblings are here with her," said Raven, "She can only rage through fire because she thought she had lost us forever." "I was a total idiot for believing that rumor," said Shadow Phoenix. Talon tells her, "You need to stop letting people getting into your head. You are much better than that, Solar." "Solar? That's her original name?" I asked. Levy answers, "It's actually Solar Ember."
I didn't know this was going on, I was having a great conversation with my elementals, I did not see Ichigo leading me to the table, I was mentally having a lovely conversation with my elementals, I just looked at him really confused, he asked, "What, are you going to eat or not?" "Oh right, sorry," I tell him, feeling slightly bad for not knowing that he was doing exactly that. I was staying quiet because I never interacted like this before, I was too scared to join ANY one's mean time, well minus the times when Captains Kyoraku and Ukitake invited me to theirs, other than those ones I was too scared, nervous, or too shy to ask to join any one's meal time. I felt eyes on me from behind, I looked to see an old man, he asked, "Well, well, who is friend of yours, Ichigo?" "She's just a friend from school," said Ichigo, "Nothing else." "Ah ha, so you are hiding the fact that you two are a thing!" shouted Ichigo's father. Next thing I knew was I actually punched him right in the jaw because that's just gross! I would never cheat on Shuhei, I would never, ever do that to him, I'm very loyal to the guy who is waiting for me to come back, thankfully I can do that just as long as I know on how to get back which is tricky because I never knew how to get back. I just stood there in complete utter shock of what I just did, all I could do was constantly apologize for doing that to Ichigo's father, but in return, was Ichigo saying, "Why are you apologizing to him on what you just did? He deserves it anyway, I was gonna do something else but after what you just did was WAY much better of what I was going to do to him." "Oh, so wait, I did a good thing?" I asked. He nodded, "He doesn't know when to quit."
