Chapter 22

As we were waiting still for everyone to show up, I was in a fight with Starrk's partner, Lily, she never liked me when I came here, as far as I know, I was being overpowered by her, I can't even land a hit on her, I do not even know where Ichigo is but I need his help. But as soon as I looked away because I heard Orihime scream, I wonder what happened, but as soon as I was distracted I was stabbed in the heart.

Third person POV:

Esperanza was seeing her best friend falling down as her life was taken away from her, she was so in shock that she can not defend Akari fast enough, so she ran to where Orihime was to only see a dead Ichigo. Both of her closest friends were down on the ground, the life source was taken away from them in the most brutal way possible, Ichigo was blasted in the chest by a cero and Akari was stabbed in the heart. Orihime saw her in distraught, asked in tears, "Where is Akari?" "She was stabbed in the heart by a sword," was all she could say because it was her way of saying that her loved ones were being stripped away. Onyx was by Akari's side while Raven was trying so hard to close up that hole, wouldn't you know it Ichigo was responding to Orihime's cry asking for his help. Esperanza sees this form of Ichigo, so does Orihime, his new hollow form was scaring her and Esperanza because it was one hell of a sight. Then it donned on Esperanza, she went to see on where Akari was supposed to be, Onyx and Raven were gone, she called out, "Onyx! Raven! Guys, where did you go?" Then she was lifted up by something and was up on a pillar, she saw a centaur take flight, Orihime and Uryu were in the middle seeing the Hollow of Ichigo fighting Ulquiorra, and was slightly overpowered by Ulquiorra somehow, Ichigo was knocked down harshly into the ground and was about to make a final move until it was thrown back at Ulquiorra.

It surprised Orihime, Uryu, and Ulquiorra to see the centaur aiding Ichigo, no one knows on WHO the centaur could be, it's eyes were heavily orange amber but a lot more on the orange side, and has the same color of hair of a certain adopted sister of Ichigo. The centaur made a dust cloud surround Ulquiorra so she could help Ichigo up so he was ready for a fight again, in return, the hollow swiped at the centaur and lowly growled at her. Her weapon was a very long falchion in a shaped of a heart, and has the colors symbolizing the love element. She made the dust go away by shooting an arrow blasting light in Ulquiorra's sight making him blind in the process, the centaur was helping Ichigo a great deal but everyone was certain that this hollow was surely acting like a very good friend of theirs and Ulquiorra's secret love interest, but the centaur does not know that, Orihime softly said to Uryu, "I think I know on who it is." "Who is it?" he asked. She answered, "I think that's Akari helping Ichigo." "You may be right," said Uryu. The centaur looked at them and raised her eyebrows at them, telling them that they got it right, then was immediately attacked by Ulquiorra. Then the centaur casted a barrier surrounding Uryu and Orihime so nothing would happen to them, it was made out of fire of course, also ice, the centaur gave them a single thumbs up because she needs to keep carrying the heavy weapon, they kept seeing her switching hands because it was that heavy for the poor friendly centaur.

What was the strangest things was when Ichigo gave the centaur the hairclip that fell out of her hair, she got it and placed it to where she knows where it was, before she did thankfully she casted blind in darkness on Ulquiorra because she was getting cold. Esperanza spots this and comes down, "Are you cold?" The centaur looks at her and nods, trotting towards her while doing so, she pulled out a regular shirt with short sleeves but she saw the centaur was relieved when she gave it a very warm over coat because she also saw the hair being removed and the hair clip was place in a satchel that Esperanza gave her, she was hugged by the centaur before it galloped away back to Ichigo, snapping her fingers in the process, disenchanting Ulquiorra's blindness, the fight resumed. Onyx tells Esperanza, "That was kind of you to do." "Thanks," she said to Onyx, "It was only fitting since half of her lower half is all covered in fur."

A few moments of the fight going on still, the centaur was going to be going away soon so instead of continue to help Ichigo, she just galloped away because of what will happen if everyone saw on who it was before the centaur, then she was far away enough to lay down and Akari was back but was still laying there. It was seen by her elementals and Esperanza, Hurricane managed to get her up high, Raven saw the injury was no longer there, Akari was stable and alive again. She woke with a start, looked around, "What happened?" "You scared us, Akari," said Talon.

Akari's POV:

"But wait wasn't I stabbed through the chest?" I asked them. They all nodded, Onyx said, "You happen to have a hollow of your own." "I do? Well that explains on how I am alive again," I said, "How is Ichigo?" None of them answered which means something happened to him, then I heard a very terrifying roar, and up came a hollow that I never seen before, it landed hard causing a mini shockwave and fear was starting to fill my entire body to the point where I am afraid to move. Then I saw it, Talon's battle hammer but I can't get to it with this hollow in my way of getting it. That was when I heard his voice asking, "How are you feeling, Akari?" "I'm doing fine," I answered, wondering on how I can hear him. Onyx cleared his throat, I looked and he was pointing down, I see the skull scepter strapped to my right hip, well that makes sense, wait that voice was Ichigo's, it was coming from the hollow, I looked back at him, "How are you?" "I could use a little bit more help from you," he said. Onyx chanted, "Centauro De Amor."

Third POV:

Without knowing it would work, Akari went unconscious again and out came the centaur, but this time she has wings that Akari always flies with. Also, this time everyone could see her lower lip but only the shading underneath it, she lifted Ichigo on her back and she took off flying with him. Out of nowhere everyone, high and low on the ground, they were hearing the friendly centaur singing an unknown tune, she got her bow and arrows ready when she finally landed, finishing her beautiful humming voice, Ichigo got down from her easily with the help of her bending downward and lowering her wings. She made her wings go away for now, but soon she might need them, since she has no one on her back to help her get an arrow that she might need, she whimpered a bit, Ichigo asked her on what was wrong in the hollow language, before she could answer, she sees Esperanza, she takes off flying again but in the process she is dodging every attack that was thrown at her. She grabs her as soon as she reached high up and goes down again, she tells Esperanza on what she needs to do, her Arrancar friend nods, Talon's battle hammer was judging her every move and attack.

Many arrows and ceros thrown later, everyone was seeing this massive fight happening, the centaur was on defense while Ichigo was doing the main event, it was proof enough for Talon's weapon to shine brightly in her direction. She winced at it because it almost made her go blind, she looks at where it would be then takes off flying towards it, without telling on where she is going but it was needed for her to leave because her job was done. When she landed, she went back to being plain Akari.
