Chapter 4

After I got done eating the mysterious plate of that delicious food, I went to the bathroom and had a private conversation with mother, only her, it's our morning tradition, she made herself, started the water so she could brush my teeth, I never tell her to stop because it makes me feel safe when she does things like this. She says, "I overheard that Ichigo is going to enroll you into that school he goes to so I'm making sure these teeth are clean enough for you to make your new friends." "If anyone is wanting me to be their friend," I said, "I am not at that level yet." "Which you will get there," she said, "Just remember I'm always here when you need me or when times get tough and you can't handle it anymore." "Alright, I'll let you know when it is," I said, "Ichigo might say something different, I'm not familiar with him yet." "You will in time," she said, "Now, stop talking and let me brush your teeth." I stopped talking for her so she can do this, then a childish laughter was going on in my mind, I furrowed my eyebrows a bit and widen my eyes for a moment. Just in time when mother finished, "What's wrong this time?" "I'm hearing childish laughter," I said, "Is it not coming from outside of the bathroom?" "I don't know, let me check and see," she said, left for a brief moment. Then it happened again, Talon said, "Akari, it's coming from inside your inner mind." "No wonder I didn't hear any giggle from outside this room," I muttered. The laughter stopped when Ichigo came over, "Are you coming or what?" "Oh sorry," I said, "I got distracted by something."

I can't bother him with this nonsense, he'll think that I'm going crazy when I do tell him, for sure that laughter is not mine, I know my own laugh, that is not it! I walked a little bit behind him, not far, but only 3 steps behind him, I can't believe this is happening to me so fast, "What's on your mind, Akari?" "Hmm, it's not important," I said, shaking off the feeling, "It's probably nothing." "If it's something about me being overwhelming for you just let me know if I'm becoming that," he said, "I want you to be as comfortable as possible for you to enjoy your time in this realm." "Thanks but I think I can manage," I said, "Besides I don't know if you would want me to search for other elements." "Why do I want to stop you from doing that?" he asked, "If that's what you are intend on doing, go for it, it's your own choice, don't let anyone talk you out of it." "You know what, you are exactly right, I'm going to be looking for other elements so that I can find out on who I am really," I said, "Thanks, Ichigo, for encouraging me to do this." "I'm guessing everyone was telling you to stick with fire," said Ichigo, "Well, guess what, who cares on what they think, if you want to do this, go for it." I never smiled so big in my life, I said to mother, "I don't think I want to go back to Captain Hitsugaya any time soon. He can force me but it's not going to do much." "Good idea, he's becoming too much for us," she said, sighing in relief.

Mother has been noticing the sudden change when I am around Ichigo, when I am around Toshiro, I'm always alone, this time is different with Ichigo. Then a sudden shriek was being heard inside of my mind, ended up giving me a big headache, I winced and yelped in pain for how loud it is and not to mention the energy it was sapping out of me. I literally had to lean up against the wall of the school he led me to, he just kept going when I yelped in pain, mother asked, "Who shrieked?" "Who else shrieks like that, sis?" asked Talon, "You are somehow near where Levy's weapon is located, that's why you are hearing this." "How do I stop her from doing this?" I asked. Talon said, "My best guess is to ditch this place and go to where her weapon is, but look for water because she is a water elemental." I looked to where Ichigo was, he is no where to be seen for the most part, when I thought the coast was clear, I just started running the opposite direction of where Ichigo was leading me. Then I heard a faint voice saying, "Closer." I'm getting closer, then I heard, "Akari!" I can't stop now, because the faint voice overpowered who shouted my name, then I saw a beautiful trident near some water. Then I see an elegant lady, mother said, "Don't let her looks fool you, Akari, she likes to be childish sometimes." "Sometimes, she's always childish, unless it's time to fight," said Talon, "Most importantly never be afraid to approach us."
