I got out of the tree when I knew I was going to be spotted up there by someone, I looked at my phone, I wonder if Ichigo is doing alright on what he is doing. I went back to where the Vizards hang out with Onyx, Shinji sees us, I asked, "How is Ichigo?" "Better question," said Shinji, pulling his sword out at Onyx, "Who is he?" "He's friendly," I said to him, "Onyx is my Dark Elemental, let him open up." "Right, sorry," said Shinji, "Habit of us, Soul Reapers." "But you should know better since you are half hollow," I said to him, "I guess since Onyx is a full blooded Hollow, his presence of being one enhanced with his dark powers." "Is that possible if so I would really like to get that under control?" I hear Onyx ask. Shinji said to him, "I'm not worried about his dark powers, I'm worried about his true Hollow form that he is hiding away." "I need him to fully open up for him to trust me," I said, "That's how I'm doing this with him, I want him to be welcomed everywhere I go without being treating like a freaking outcast!!" "Whoa, easy there," said Shinji, "Ichigo is still battling his Hollow so keep it down." "Do not tell me what to do," I snapped, "You are not in charge of me, I do my own thing, no one will stop me from fighting for what is right in my heart."

I went to where Ichigo was still, Onyx followed, "Try to keep opening yourself to the point where I am opened up as well." "That's how you work?" I asked. Onyx nodded, "I need to know that you are the right person who is worthy of my dark powers." "Stop pretending like I haven't already," I said. Onyx sighed, "You are a quick learner, Akari." "Thanks, I like to learn things that come my way," I said to him, "Now, one thing at a time, I need to fight while I fly." "You might need to wait on that," said Onyx, "You are not using the right state of mind, you can wait until you get Serene Jewel." "Oh yeah," I said, "I feel like with every elemental I come across, Talon has become mean lately." "He misses his wife, Akari," he said, "You were so close of obtaining her but it looks like you will get another chance." "Wait, what do you mean?" I asked. Onyx said, "Shinji lied about Ichigo being here, I don't see Strawberry anywhere." "Hey, only I am allowed to call him that," I said, "I coined it, not you." "I can tell that we are going to be super close," said Onyx, "I'm hoping for that to be the case." "Oh yeah, definitely you are going back into the hairclip world," I said, "Not until you are fully aware that you are safe with me and everyone else I meet up with." "Alright, let's go," said Onyx.

We ended up being at Karakura High School, where I was supposed to be headed anyway if I wanted to see Ichigo, then the moment of truth, we bumped into him, Ichigo said, "Akari, man, it's good to see you. Who is this?" "This is Onyx," I said. Onyx shyly waved, I tell Ichigo, "Be nice to him, please, he's my Dark Elemental." "I'm not going to bother with him," said Ichigo, "But someone would might." Out came Keigo, he ran towards me like we are together, Onyx did the brave thing and used his ominous presence to scare Keigo away, it worked, Ichigo said, "Thanks, Onyx." "What did you do?" I asked Onyx. Onyx tells us, "I basically showed him if he keeps messing with you, I give him never ending nightmares." "Oh dang, that's a little extreme," I said. Ichigo tells us, "But worth it." "Can't argue with that," I said. Then we went into class, Onyx changed into the uniform, covered the white shirt with his black and red violet vest, at least I let the staff allow him to keep wearing that until we graduate from this place. I had him sit right next to me so he doesn't feel threatened at all, then Rukia went to him, "Are you new here?" "Yes, I am," said Onyx. I tell her, "Rukia, leave him be, I brought him here, he's under my protection." "I see, sorry to bother you then, sir," said Rukia.

Then we got the chance to work in a group, I happen to choose Onyx by default before any of the other girls did, I moved my desk right next to him so he can feel safe. I did not get sleep at all during my stay in Hueco Mundo, he sees that my eyes were closing, he did the most nicest thing he ever did, he allowed me to lean on his arm, I didn't see this but I felt something soft underneath my head. He did say he could form into a Black Panther at any time if needed, I'm guessing that this was his way of saying that he will always be there when I need someone to sleep on. I opened up my eyes to see that I'm laying down, seeing open skies, I sat up to see a Black Panther surrounding me, I smiled at who it was, "Thanks, Onyx, I could not get any sleep while I was there." "No worries," said Onyx, "Remember I can only turn into this if I am in my elemental spirit form." "Yeah I got it," I said, "Jaguar turned into his gigantic jaguar form in his spirit form, I'm going to let you do your own thing." "Thanks, Akari," said Onyx, "The teacher was concerned about your well being, same with Ichigo and some others, that's what my instincts telling me to take you somewhere that you can get into a proper sleeping position." I looked around to only see nothing but black surrounding, which was weird I was able to see the sky but now I don't, "Onyx, why is my vision blocked by darkness?" "Hm? Oh, sorry," he said, turning back into his human form and snapped his fingers, "I casted Blind in Darkness, it was suppose to help you sleep in peace." "Well thanks, I guess," I said, "Could've sworn I saw what was going to happen if I sleep for too long."

Onyx was beating himself up for what he did not tell me, I asked, "What did you not tell me?" "I keep forgetting that would happen," he said, "It has a tendency to do that, it's beyond my control." "You could control it if you trust someone dearly," I tell him. Then he looks at me, "Can I put my trust on you?" "I haven't let anyone down yet," I said, "Anyone can trust me, just as long as they are not on the bad side." "Got it," said Onyx, "I'm going to trust you from here on out." "That's good to hear from you, Onyx," I said. He stood up and physically made his weapon appear before me, I said, "An Orcish Greatsword?" "Yep, it's all yours," said Onyx, "You see, I was the one who made Hurricane's weapon, the all gray color scheme he was going for was not cutting for that weapon of his." "I haven't seen his weapon yet," I said, "Well I have but not the Bankai version." "There is no bankai form for that weapon," said Onyx, "That's all he has for you, now sure he may have another weapon, but you might have to wait until you have all 13 elementals before unlocking our Bankai forms." "Oh, I see," I said, "Thanks, Onyx, may I know what yours would look like?" "It stays the same but if you do unlock it, you can make it turn into anything you want," said Onyx.

Our conversation ended just in time for Ichigo to check up on me, he asked Onyx, "How is she?" "She's well rested," he said. Then I noticed something, I looked at Onyx, "Your ominous presence is gone." "It is, how?" he asked, "I haven't done anything great lately." "You made sure she got the rest she needed," said Ichigo, "Not to mention, getting her into the right position." "Ah, I get it," he said, "I used my power in order for her to not worry about a thing." "What did you do?" asked Rukia. Onyx said to her, "I casted Blind in Darkness, so she can not see anyone that is far from how I had it, she can only see that person within 5 ft. or closer to her, in other words, she can't see anyone past 5 ft." "I see," said Ichigo. We went back into the room, we resumed on what we were doing, Keigo asked Onyx, "Hey, why do you have that black and red vest covering your uniform?" "What's to ya?" he asked, "I'm wearing this because I'm more comfortable with it on. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you think quick because I'm not afraid to punch your lights out!" Keigo got the message and left him alone, I tell Onyx, "That was a little harsh for you to say." "I'm tired of idiots asking stupid questions about my appearance," Onyx tells me.

No one has ever confront Onyx because he keeps them away from himself and me, he very serious about not being disturbed unless they have a good reason to bother us. When it was just us up on the roof top, it was lunch time, he was leaning on the fence facing me, I can tell he loves me for who I am, but I can tell his heart is taken by another elemental, I meant as in a friendship way, which is what he needs right now, someone that he depend on. That's when Strawberry was coming our way, we were having fun getting the first taste of music, especially the music with the heavy guitars, and the lead singer sounds very scruffy but very strong vocals. Ichigo asked, "What are you guys listening to?" "This group, we don't know what the name of them is," I said, "Here have a listen." He listens, "Oh, that's a very good group, unfortunately they are receiving a lot of hate even though they make really great songs that touch the hearts of many people, the group name is Nickelback." "Oh, can we hear a heart touching song?" I asked, "I want to hear it for myself." "Are you sure?" he asked. Onyx and I both nodded, then he played one named 'Never Gonna Be Alone,' I instantly felt the emotion throughout the song, I love them already, then Ichigo asked, "If you want me to, I can find some of the good songs of these guys and some others because I know you've been listening to other singers and groups. Do you want me to do that?" "Please, I would be so grateful," I said to him.
