Xu Nianyang and Qing Ruo went to the supermarket after dinner. He picked vegetables for the next day and saw her standing in front of the freezer, frowning as she held back her small mouth in a pitiful manner.

He stepped forward to hug her waist and smiled gently before saying, "What is it Ruoruo?"

Qing Ruo reached out to take two ice creams from the freezer, the strawberry-flavoured one was in her left hand while her right hand held a chocolate-flavoured ice cream. She asked Xu Nianyang, "Gege. Which one to buy?"

Xu Nianyang laughed at her silly question before lightly kissing on her lips and said, "Buy both of them."

She pursed her lips and ignored him before looking back at strawberry ice cream. She pouted her lips and slowly placed the strawberry one back in the freezer after a long time, and just took the chocolate flavoured.

Ice cream was not healthy so Xu Nianyang didn't want her to eat more, but when he saw her really tangled on her favourite strawberry flavour, he reached out to take the strawberry ice cream, while saying, "Why don't you want strawberry flavoured?"

Qing Ruo intercepted his hand halfway and put the ice cream back before pulling him out and said, "I often eat strawberry flavoured food items. I want to eat chocolate flavoured ice cream today, let's buy the strawberry one next time."

Xu Nianyang held the shopping basket in one hand and watched her smile sweetly as she held his other hand. Noticing that she really decided, he obediently walked out with her.

There were not many things to buy so Xu Nianyang held a poly bag and led her home. The supermarket was not far from their apartment, after dinner, they took a walk to the supermarket. So, the two came here on foot. On the way back, Qing Ruo kept thinking about her ice cream and pulled Xu Nianyang to walk quickly.

After reaching home, she flipped open the ice cream and went to the kitchen to get a spoon.

Xu Nianyan changed his slippers and threw the wrapping paper she dropped on the table into a trash can. Qing Ruo had already dug a spoon in the ice cream while walking out of the kitchen and fed a spoonful to Xu Nianyang.

"Mhm." Xu Nianyang opened his mouth to eat it and made a response to tell her that it was delicious. Qing Ruo sat back on the sofa and started eating on her own.

After all she was young and lazy, now that she ate the ice cream; she lazily laid on her stomach holding a game console in her hands. However, she couldn't help but start talking, "Gege, mom said that it is not easy for you to make money and this apartment also has to pay the home loan every month. Mom said that nowadays, the home loan interest rate is quite high so she said that I need to start saving the money.

"Mhm." Xu Nianyang held the TV remote control in one hand, and gently moved his other hand in her hair. He adjusted the TV volume and casually said, " The house money was already deposited in the bank a long time ago so it will directly deduct from the bank every month."

She patted away his hand from her hair before sitting up and asking, "How much money do you earn in a month? How much can we save per month?"

Xu Nianyang glanced at her and his eyes were full of smiles. He raised his palm to gesture and said, "Add five zeroes behind it."

Qing Ruo unhappily pulled the corners of her lips and suddenly leaned over him and unwillingly said, "I want to go back and buy that box of strawberry flavoured ice cream."

Xu Nianyang bowed his head and kissed on her forehead before saying, "Ok, get up. Shall we go now?"

"Forget it." Qing Ruo turned over before saying, "I'm too lazy to move now, Let's talk about it tomorrow."
