"Come on mate. The tour starts in a little over a month, it's new years and we have a break from rehearsals!" Harry tells me excitedly.
I'm up for a party, anytime. But today was different. It's been a month exactly since Kasey broke up with me. She couldn't handle the time apart. I was looking forward to finally getting a new years kiss this year and then she walked out. We were childhood friends who fell in love though out our teen years. She was everything to me.
I took a deep breath and nodded my head, agreeing to go with them. It was just a small new years party anyway. We get to the place and walk in. That's when I see her.
"Damn." I said to myself as my eyes slowly scanned her.
"Go get her Horan." Liam tells me with a small nudge. I slowly start walking over to her thinking of what to say.
Act cool Niall, act cool.

"Guys calm down. It was just a new years kiss. Nothing to freak out about." I say, sitting in front of Selena and Courtney who are literally fangirling over what Selena told Courtney.
"Yeah, but it was a kiss from NIALL JAMES HORAN! Like that's something you can't ignore!" Courtney says, slightly too loud.
"So, are you guys like a thing now?" Selena asks.
"Seriously? He just met me not even 24 hours ago. He's probably forgotten me by now in all honesty." I tell them, my excitement dropping.
"Didn't you guys exchange numbers or twitters or something?" Courtney asks and I shake my head.
"He probably wouldn't trust a fan with his number anyways. All I have to look forward to his seeing him again in August." I tell them.
"Oh no! We are not letting this off that easy! Go on Twitter and tweet something to him about New Years. You are seeing him again before that concert!" Selena says, with Courtney agreeing.
"You guys know how many mentions he gets in a day. There's no way he'll even see it." I say, and they shake their heads.
Selena hands me my phone and waits for me to do as I was told. I sigh and unlock my phone, going to my Twitter app. I press the status button and hover my fingers over the buttons trying to come up with something clever.

I tweet it and plug my phone into his charger, leaving it on the nightstand.
"Okay guys, happy?" I laugh and they both nod.
We lay on the blow up mattress we had laid out and pull the blankets over us. I lay on my side and thing about what all had happened, believing it was nothing but a dream. I close my eyes and almost instantly falling asleep, with the image of Niall and I am midnight on my mind.
