The other exams went by fast, Harry had studied so hard the last month that he almost felt like Hermione. Today was their Herbology exam. The one Draco and him had studied for together. Harry really hoped he had actually learned something that night because he was kind of distracted the moment he was supposed to be studying.

This time Draco wished Harry succes first: "Good luck Potter!" He whisper-shouted from a few tables behind him. Harry looked back and mouthed the same, not being able to say something because Professor McGonagall just told everyone to remain silent for the next 3 hours.

The exam was super easy, the night was engraved in Harry's brain. Everytime he wasn't sure of his answer he just thought back to their study session and remembered it again. He either heard Draco or himself quote the answer since they both studied a part and then explained it to each other. If only he could've done that for all his exams.

Soon the exams were over. Tomorrow they would get their report. So today Ron, Hermione and Harry just enjoyed each other's presence and drank a warm butterbeer that they had managed to fetch from The Three Broomsticks. For the first time in eight years the raven haired would be the only one who stayed at Hogwarts during Christmas. Hermione's parents wanted to travel to Italy to catch up the year they unknowingly had lost with her during the Battle of Hogwarts. Ron was also going home because his mom wanted to spent time with him and her other children.

Ron had invited Harry to come along but Harry felt like Mrs. Weasley needed some alone time with her kids. She wasn't over Fred's death yet and Harry didn't want to interfere. So he would just stay at Hogwarts alone with a few other students and teachers. Luna Lovegood was one of the students who stayed in Hogwarts.

Harry and Luna had always gotten along really good. Whenever Harry was with the odd girl, he didn't feel like "The-Boy-Who-Lived", he was just "Harry". She never befriended him for who he was, but rather for what he was. Whenever Harry talked with Luna it didn't have to be about him and what he needed to do in order to save the Wizarding World.

Luna just talked to him as if he was a normal person. She never stressed him out about anything, she just talked about Nargles and other things he didn't understand. Her ideas were pretty weird but somehow she was often proven right about things. Harry also acknowledged how Luna cared a lot for Harry and he really appreciated that. As for teachers, the only one Harry knew that was staying was Professor McGonagall. Since she was the head of Hogwarts.

The next day the trio got their reports. They all passed. Hermione's grades were as good as always, Ron had an Acceptable for Potions and also passed the other classes with Exceeds Expectations and Harry's points had never been this good. He even got an Outstanding for Potions.

They had a free day today so they decided to go to Hogsmeade to get another Butterbeer. They talked about the exams and how they were positively surprised. Hermione complimented Harry on his grades and Harry answered saying it was all thanks to her. Though she wasn't the only one he should thank.

Draco had helped him a lot as well. Herbology was the one class Harry disliked the most. If it weren't for Draco he would've probably slacked and not learned anything that one night. "Hey Hermione." Harry asked. "Do you know if Draco's going home during this vacation?" Hermione's eyes widened as she looked at Ron.

Harry never wanted Ron to know about everything that had been going on but Ron definitely just heard what he asked as he was sitting merely one meter from him. Harry figured this was the best moment to let him know. Ron turned around and looked at Harry. "Why do you want to know if he's going home?" Ron sincerely asked. Harry just went straight for it and explained it all. From their first meeting until when they had studied together.

"So he.. You.." Ron stuttered. "We're friends now." Harry fell in for Ron. "Right. And you only figured to tell me now because..?" He went on. "Because I wanted to give you more time to think about it without being in my presence." Harry calmly answered.

"I'm okay with it though." Ron just said. "Yes Ron I know just give him a chan-" Harry suddenly stopped talking. "Wait what? You're okay with it?" Harry asked. Ron chuckled and said: "Did you really think I wouldn't catch onto how you look at him during meals or how you suddenly go on one hour walks through the castle in the middle of the night or how you literally got up to him before exams to wish him good luck?"

Harry awkwardly shuffled. "So you're really okay with it?" Ron nodded. The raven haired boy genuinely thanked him. "Also, I heard that Draco might be at Hogwarts during the vacation. Pansy was talking about it in the hall a few hours ago." He tipped. "Thanks Ron." Harry said, he looked at Hermione and she just sat there drinking her Butterbeer with a big smile on her face.

"What is it Hermione." Ron asked. She grinned and answered: "Nothing, I'm just going to miss you both." She got up from her place and went to hug Harry and after that she sat on Ron's lap and lightly kissed him on his nose. "I'm sorry I can't stay here Harry. But I'm sure Draco and you will get along next week." Harry nodded. He hoped so.

The day went by pretty fast as the three had lots to talk about. But it was time to say goodbye for now. Hermione got all emotional and wiped away a few tears. She hugged Harry once again but this time a little longer than before. Her and Ron took some time to say goodbye as well and Harry wished them happy holidays, he also told Ron to say hi to Mrs. and Mr. Weasley from him. They both shared a hug as well and then it was time for them to go. Harry waved at them until he couldn't see the thestral and the car they pulled anymore.
