Awkward conversations lead to awkward battles

Dream's P.O.V
''Oh, you're over here, how convenient,''
I say while fixing my eyes on the skeleton before me.

His facial expression quickly turns into a scowl, his aura giving off an annoyed vibe.

Despite all of that, Error remains in his in his position.
He does not say a word, nor does he move even an inch.
The man simply glares at me as if trying to stare me down.

We look at each other with an obvious loss of what to do before I break the silence.

'' I expected to hear a snarky remark but I guess things just aren't the same without the other two morons around huh,''

Error does not break any eye contact with me and merely nods.

''...''

Silence, once again, fills the air.

How do I turn this conversation around without making the receiving end feel uncomfortable?

For Toby's sake, I have never been in such an awkward situation before, talking with others usually comes as second nature to me.

Hmm, what should I say in a situation like thi-

ACTUALLY, WHY DO I EVEN CARE.

Error is working with Nightmare, which makes him a criminal as well.
I need to arrest him immediately, not make small talk!

Springing into action, I lunge at Error with my summoned sword in my hand.

The plan is to render him immobile then place him in a cell for me to deal with later.

Error reacts quickly, jumping back, his hand reaching out to most likely use his blue strings to attack me.

Sure enough, the strings fly towards me at a rapid speed.

I take a few steps to my left and let the strings fly past me.

As interesting as his magic is, Error still is not very experienced in fighting.

Immediately after,the strings somehow recoil and wrap around my sword, yanking it out of my hands.

Error, who is a distance away from me, grabs my sword and says,

'' If you want this back, you're going to help me!''

Is he actually trying to hold a weapon hostage?

Hiding my bewilderment, I give a reply.

'' I have important buisness to attend to, so I'm afraid I cannot assist you in your childish adventures,''

'' Well, then I'll follow you to wherever you're going and after you finish your 'important buisness', you're going to help me,''

Gosh, I can just get a new sword but I had such good memories with that specific one.

For example, the fiftieth criminal stabbed and hundredth criminal I cut down.

I used my sword to do both of that.

Making a decision, I sigh.

'' Fine, what do you want,''
