maya sighed as aaliyah went out with her. "remind me again why i have to put up with this?" aaliyah sighed. "i'm sorry, maya. elise couldn't take me since athena needed her."
"i don't mind, but i wanna ask you something. do you think sam and elise have some sort of history?" aaliyah shrugged. "i don't know. i don't wanna press elise for answers."
maya sighed. "you think we could ask vi about this?" aaliyah hummed. "sure. but i doubt sam told her anything. she's pretty secretive for a 19 year old."
before maya could respond, a stray volleyball hit aaliyah straight on the head. "holy shit! aaliyah! what the fuck?!" maya caught her before she could fall miserably.
"ow.." suddenly, a girl came to them. "i'm so sorry! i should've caught the ball. i am so sorry." the girl immediately grabs aaliyah to check her head.
"i can take you to the infirmary." aaliyah nodded, holding her head. "that would be lovely." aaliyah looked up, and her heart leapt to her throat. "drea?"
"oh, lilian, it's you." "ANDREA!! THE BALL!!" andrea quickly throws the ball back into the field. "you guys know each other?" andrea laughed. "oh, we used to."
"how come i never knew?" aaliyah shrugged. "i haven't seen andrea in a long time." andrea smiled. "i'll take you to the infirmary. wait here, i'll just ask my coach."
andrea ran off, talking to her coach, and maya chuckled. "you look so red right now." aaliyah sighed. "shut up, maya." andrea quickly got back, smiling. "i can take you."
andrea got aaliyah in a piggyback, much to her chagrin. "i can walk, drea." maya laughs at that. "i won't be able to forgive myself if i gave you a concussion."
they arrive at the infirmary and andrea immediately places her on the bed. "what happened, minatozaki?" andrea sighed. "I missed the ball and it hit her pretty hard."
"do i need to inform elise about this?" aaliyah was about to answer when maya beat her to it. "yes, i think it's better if she takes care of her, she only listens to her."
"alright, i'll call her. thanks for bringing her in, andrea." she smiles, before patting aaliyah on the head. "thank you too, ads. call elise, since i have to go right now."
soon after andrea leaves, aaliyah sighs. "i'm fine maya, i think i have to wait for elise." maya laughed. "i'll stay here with you. i mean, it's just us now. i'll cancel on luna."
"what? you don't have to do that. it's your girlfriend." maya sighs, flicking the bruise on aaliyah's forehead, causing her to yelp. "ouch! maya what's that for?" she pouts.
"you're an idiot. you're my sister, silly. you're my priority. sisters before anything else, right?" maya puts out her pinky, and aaliyah does too. "right. thank you, maya."
"of course." the two sisters wait patiently, until elise arrives. "aaliyah!" aaliyah heard elise shout as she opened the door. "i came as soon as i could. ads called me."
elise pulls aaliyah in for a deep kiss, not noticing maya standing opposite her, until the woman snorted. "please don't make out in front of me."
elise pulled away in embarrassment, and aaliyah rolls her eyes. "whatever, maya. you're just jealous luna doesn't do this with you." aaliyah stuck her tongue out.
"whatever, let's just go home. your bump might get worse."

aaliyah was laying in her bed, with elise sleeping right next to her, cuddled up closely with her, when her phone lit up with a message.

aaliyah sighed as she got up, careful not to wake elise up as she threw on a hoodie and grabbed her phone, wallet and keys off the table.
quickly getting in her car, she put in the location sam had sent her into the gps. driving off soon after, sighing as she drove past the streets and finally arriving at the bridge.
"Sam?" aaliyah approached sam, who was leaning peacefully over the railing, carrying a backpack with her. "i'm here. i'm sorry i took a while."
