the girl sighed as she read over the small text. she couldn't believe she was left on read. she could only sigh, huffing as she threw her phone onto her bed.
"you won't be able to ignore me for long."

Apartment Rooftop, 7:55am
the view was nice, as expected from a well off university. a paper airplane sat on the ledge of the building, and sam stared at it, contemplating.
"Sam!" she turned around at the call of her name. there stood Katy Kim, her classmate. "are you coming?"
"i'm coming." sam grabbed the airplane off the ledge, crumpling it and shooting it into the trash bin as she followed Katy. "how have you been?"
"huh?" katy walked side by side with sam, as she smiled. "you look troubled. is it the hang over? i saw you at june's?" sam quickly shook her head.
"ah, no. i was just thinking of something." katy looked at her. "well, penny for your thoughts?" sam sighed. "do you wanna come with me?"
"sure. where though?" sam smiled. "i'm just gonna visit a close friend." katy nodded. "okay." sam nodded, sighing when her phone lit up.

sam pocketed her phone again. "when are we going?" katy asked, as sam thought for a while. "right now is a good time."
"alright." the two enter sam's car, and sam immediately drove off to a nearby flower shop, getting the flowers she paid for. "i've never taken anyone with me there."
"really? i'm glad you trust me." sam smiled, as they arrived at the site. "we have to walk by foot." katy nodded again. "alright. do you do this everyday?"
"just monthly." after their short trek, the arrived at the site. there was a stack of stones, and a small pot of dried flowers. "since when?"
"3 years ago." sam put the flowers down, sighing as she crouched down by the pile of stones and caressed it. "i brought a friend today, unnie."
leaning on the pile was a picture of sam and a slightly older woman, and sam smiled at the camera, while the woman was playfully patting her head.
"how have you been up there? it must be nice, huh? i'm doing well, actually. better than last time. i met katy and she helped me a lot."
"i finally had a girlfriend after what happened. it's been a nice year. thank you, unnie. for that night. i'll always thank you for that."

Local Convenience Store, 9:30pm
scar placed the multiple ramen packets as the cashier scanned it. "that'll be 20,000 won." she quickly paid, thanking the clerk before going her way.
"bella? coco? you're out at this hour?" the two sighed. "selena is drunk again. i just don't get why she can't be sober for one day."
"i thought alexa was in charge of her? after she puked on athena at the party?" bella sighed. "you know she doesn't listen to alexa."
coco sighed. "do you wanna take her?" scar shook her head. "cal will skin me alive. you know she won't like that." coco pouted.
"skylar's about to get home. she's gonna beat me for bringing another girl in." bella rolled her eyes. "i'll do it. i'm sure brianna won't mind."

A few days later..
TWICE UNIVERSITY Piano Room, 5:00pm
"Sam!" violet sat beside her, seeing her playing the piano. "you're alone today." sam smiled. "they all went home. did your practice finish?"
"yeah, aaliyah had to go to elise's office though, we kinda got into a fight." sam stops playing to look at violet. "what happened?"
"maya and luna went to us since they were dismissed early and someone just started to scream at aaliyah, and she got pissed, and kicked the ball harshly, injuring that person."
"after that, we all got into a fight and elise saw aaliyah hit first and she scolded her, i guess." sam nodded. "i see. did you join too?"
"i'm sorry, it's my sisters. it's not that bad though." sam hummed, cupping violet's face. "you don't need to get hurt all the time."
"i'm fine, sam. i promise." sam kissed her briefly, breaking off when she heard someone enter. "i knew you'd be here."
