Mr. Jung's House, 6:00pm

"we're here!" aaliyah said, as she stopped the van. "you guys could've taken your cars." violet shrugged. "but i can't drive."

"sam can. she has a car too, she just uses her bike more often." maya said, and violet sighs. "whatever. we're here now."

the sisters and their girlfriends get down from the van, getting led by the butler inside. summer was already inside with their parents.

they see a man, and another set of elders, as they all sat down. "alright, these are my daughters, aaliyah, maya, violet, and of course, summer."

"girls, meet the im family and their son, ethan. summer will be marrying him." the girls politely smile as they started to eat dinner, the awkward tension never fading.

soon maya stands up, excusing herself to the bathroom. ethan followed her with his eyes with a concerned expression on his face.

"luna, go." violet whispers, causing luna to get up as well. currently, the kids are in the large living room as the parents were in the study, having a meeting.

after maya came back with luna, ethan introduces himself. "hi, i'm ethan im. you can call me e or noah." the girls shook his hand.

"maya. this is my girlfriend, luna." he nods. "nice to meet you." maya lets go of his hand. "i'm aaliyah, and this is my girlfriend elise."

"i'm violet, and this is my girlfriend, sam." he smiles. "i heard a lot about all of you, in case you're wondering, gail and i aren't related."

"i know, but please don't mention anything. the christmas party is a sensitive topic for us." violet said, making him nod. "you don't look happy at all."

"no one's happy about this. but we have to suck it up. you better take care of summer, ethan." aaliyah speaks up, as ethan smiles.

"i'll try my best." he says, his eyes settling on sam a bit longer, before he was blocked by elise, then chuckling.

"stop protecting people who got their hands dirty, who knows where they come from?" he chuckles, and maya saw red. "you little—"

"unnie. stop." sam held her wrist. "it's not worth it. you'll get hurt." maya looked at her. "sam.." sam looked at him. "just leave him be."

"are you snaking around two sisters as well?" violet, luna and elise immediately step forward. "stop assuming things when you don't know what happened."

"oh, i know. emi showed me." sam looked up at him. "emi showed you? showed you what?" he smirks at her. "oh, you know..the incident that happened before you moved here."

"she spread the clip to the whole school, did you not know?" sam sighed, rubbing her temples. "whatever you saw, it was fabricated."

"fabricated? you're saying i'm a liar?" he taunts her, but sam only shrugs. "i'm not saying you lied, it does exist. i'm just saying it's all emi's plan to throw our previous president off."

"emilia asked me to help her, and i did. it was all fake and the issue doesn't exist. it's just the influence of my father that made it big."

"whatever. your reputation is still ruined." sam sighed. "i don't think you've noticed, but i don't care. i don't think i would've done what i've done if i cared enough about her."

"can we stop talking about this? this isn't about what you could do to ruin each other." elise says, and ethan shrugs. "alright, fine. you're so bossy."

elise was about to answer him, but the parents came back. "elise.." aaliyah called her, glancing at ethan. "check my message."

elise pulled her phone out, seeing a message from aaliyah and reading it.

the room was tense as the parents sat back down. "the day after tomorrow, you all will spend time with ethan. to get used to him and everything."

"i have practice that day." maya says, and aaliyah nods as well. "same here." ethan smiles. "that's okay. i'll pick you guys up."

"we have to attend sam's piano recital." violet spoke up. "then we could go together. i'll ask the ticket from kai and lucas."

"well, then that's settled." mr. im said, and the sisters let out an inaudible sigh. maya looks at her father. "i think we may need to go."

"the traffic here is horrible and we might not get home in time." their father sighs, but nods. "alright." ethan's parents smile at the girls.

"you girls take care." aaliyah smiles. "we will. thank you for having us." they all bow and say their goodbyes before leaving.

Aaliyah's Van, 9:00pm

"can we just stay over at the house?" luna asks and aaliyah nods. "sure." maya sighs heavily. "can we change and go to yeouido? i need to release some steam."

"sure, why not?" the car ride home was silent after that, with some of them having fallen asleep due to being tired.
