Months turned to years. I have away from home for a year. I miss home so much that I tried recreating my room.
School was going fine so far, keeping up with the good grades and Mary helping me with the bullies while zufaya helping me in making friends that I didn't want to.

"Urghh, I am hungry" I shouted as the house echoed. Really!? The house isn't that big but I was alone and the furniture's are too.
I decide to go down the street to my favourite bread shop.
I was in my PJ but topped them with a thick jacket that reached my knee and I tripled my stockings. It was November Christmas was approaching. I can't wait for it to snow. I would like my first experience of snow to be special maybe with my Prince charming as zufaya said.
"It still smells the same" I said I walked in the bread shop.
The woman in the counter wasn't the one I knew. Maybe she retired. I laughed on saying that.
I ordered my favourite bread, milk bread and some hot chocolate. I can't take ice cream anymore.
I sat down on the chair I usually sit
scrolling through feed on Instagram. My attention was caught by a guy sitting opposite me I couldn't see his face but his hair was long and coily tucking out of the warmer he wore. He was fair in complexion, after seconds looking at him I couldn't still see his face. I turned back to my business. My instinct was telling me" girl!!, somebody is looking at you". My body was itching.
I sat there for minutes thinking I should go out or wait for my order.
Pingg! The bell rang and I quickly walked to the counter to my surprise the guy also did. I tried my best not to look at his face.
"Here is your milk bread and hot chocolate" the woman said both handing us our order.
We ordered the same thing!??.
"Oh I see you stole my favourite" the guy said making me to look at him confused.
Oh God! Is this a human being or an Angel. His brown eyes where deep and held so many emotions. His lips!! Let me not go there. His fair complexion marched his slim body and fluffy hair which tangled around his ear I was lost in thought.
"What?" I said smudging my eyebrows together.
"Nothing" he replied starring right into my eyes moving closer to me.
"Umm I heard you the first time" I said with a smirk.
"So you did, And you asked me" he said laughing.
"I wasn't paying attention".
A man cleared his throat making me shiver in fear. We were still standing by the counter.
" sorry" we both chorused moving out of the way.
I quickly rushed out of the shop hoping he won't follow me.
"Hey" he called but I ignored him and walked.
He looked like an Arab for once but when he came closer he looked more of a Nigerian but his accent, oh my God. My ears where blessed.
As I walk slowly in the quite street of London a car was slowly moving by my side. It was a Black Mercedes Benz with tinted glasses. I stopped and turned directly to the window as it slowly went down. That guy!
"What!?" I asked
"Nothing" he replied with a smile that exposed his dimple.
How can somebody be so perfect!?.
"Where are you heading to?" He asked in his deep American accent.
"Home"
"Do you need a ride?" He asked.
"No, thank you" I replied turning to leave.
"Please" he said in a sweet baby voice.
"Okay" I replied smiling.
I couldn't resit that voice.

Salim'sPOV
I was sitting in my favourite bread shop when I noticed a girl sitting opposite me scrolling through her phone. Damn! She was so pretty and looked very innocent but I knew she wasn't. My mind was telling me to go talk to her but my body wasn't moving at all. I couldn't get my eyes of her. She looked more of a Nigerian I thought. Maybe she is, Mom would like her.
Pingg!! The bell rang.
I quickly went up to the counter just to see her standing there too.
"Should I talk?" I asked the inner me.
Girls go crazy for me but here I am standing beside a girl I like but she didn't even notice me. I am salim I thought. I always have a way.
To my surprise we both ordered the same thing. Great opportunity!!.
"Oh I see you stole my favourite"
Oh God what am I saying seriously??. This is what you have! My mind said as I hit my head a thousand times for saying that. To my surprise she didn't reply she starred right into my eyes making me feel a surge of connection.
"What?" She finally asked breaking the eye contact making her heart break in pieces.
"Nothing" I replied out of words. Her beauty was the true definition of beauty I couldn't resist moving close and closer to her.
"Umm, I heard that the first time" she replied with a smile. She is killing me.
"So you did, and you asked me" I replied laughing.
Why the butt am I laughing??!
A man who seemed to standing there the whole time cleared his throat making us to turn quickly.
"Sorry" we both uttered moving out of the way.
But before I could turn she was

gone.
I ran outside to see her across the road already.
I hopped in my car a drove slowly to her path.

Halima's pov
I got in the car. The air conditioner was just prefect I wasn't too cold nor hot. As for Mr Felix's his air conditioner always comes out with a dust first before an unbearable stiffness go through my body.
It was a silent drive for a minute before he decided to say"I'm salim ".
Salim?!.
" Am Halima " I replied.
"So you Nigerian right?"He asked looking at me. I could feel it.
"Yes " I replied.
I didn't want to asked questions so I minded my business squeezing my bread hard.
"I am too" he replied.
"How?" I asked looking at him. I can't stop starring.
"My mom is an Arabian and my dad is from Nigeria" he said making a silly face.
"How?" I asked again sounding really confused.
"But I was born here, we usually go there once in a year" he added.
"Which way?" He asked
"Just around this hotel" I replied pointing at the next stop.
"Okay" he replied.
I decided not to say anything. Finally home sweet home.
"Thank you" I said making my way out of the car.
"My pleasure" he replied placing his hands on his chest.
I dragged my self out of the cooling AC and a dashing guy next to me.
I quickly went into my apartment and closed the door behind me.

Salim's POV
A quite drive and I decided to to say something after so much battle with my mouth to speak my mind.
I introduced myself and she did too.
"You Nigerian?" I asked.
"Yes" she replied without any hesitation she set her face to the road.
"I'm too" I replied.
"How?she asked sounding really funny.
I explained how I was a Nigerian and asked her the way to her apartment.
I watched her leave the car. My lips where stuck together. I couldn't say anything. I watched her close the door.
I just did the most stupid thing in my whole life!!.
