"Nothing"

Everyone was silent while we caught our breath from what just happened.

Teddy was rocking on the floor with a bewildered expression. He was probably trying to understand what just happened.

I stood up from my spot on the floor and headed for the door.

"Ash?" I heard Sammy called out. "Where are you going?"

"I need some fresh air," I said not turning around.

I walk through the still open door and down the hall. Not wanting to wait for the elevator, I run down the stairs. I was starting to feel as if the walls were starting to close in on me. I took the stairs two at time, wanting to get out. Finally getting down to ground level, I ran out through the front doors, letting the crisp air of the night wash over me.

I bent over, putting my hands on my knees and breathing deeply. I listened to every breath that went past my lips, payed attention to the way my stomach moved with each breath, felt my heart beat slowly clam. This is the way I calm myself in these kinds of situations. I need to be conscious of everything that's physically happening to my body.

It helps calm me.

Helps slowly my racing heart.

Just helps in general.

"Ashley?" I heard a voice ahead of me.

I glanced up to see a worried Dean walking quickly towards me with Alaina and Madeline walking a little slower behind him.

"Ash?" Dean said stopping in front of me.

I stood up straight and refused to meet his intense gaze.

"Ash, whats wrong?" He asked.

I shook my head.

"Nothing," I lied. "I just need some fresh air."

I smiled weakly to help convince him, but I know it didn't, but he smiled back nevertheless.

"OK," He said, unconvinced. "You wanna go back in? I need to speak with Sammy."

I finally met his eyes.

"I'm going to go back to our room," I said turning around without another word.

Going through the lobby and bounding back up the stairs to the second floor. I went to the door marked 23B and slid the key card through the scanner. Upon hearing the click of the door unlocking, I pushed the door open and stepped through.

I let the door shut slightly loudly behind me while I collapsed on one of the beds.

I sighed while a single tear slipped down my cheek.

The familiar click of the door unlocking met my ears, but I didn't move and honestly hoped it was one of the girls. They wouldn't question me and if they did, I could blow them off ten times easier than Sam or Dean...especially Dean.

Not really caring, I don't move or make any indication that I heard the door open and close, or the footsteps that followed.

Just by listening to the footsteps, I knew that it was Dean.

I sighed again and sat up slowly, keeping my back facing him.

"Why does it always seem to be kids?" I asked.

(A/N: Sorry its taken me so long to update and then when I finally do, its so short. Promise to update in the next couple days. If not then, I will this weekend!)
